AN: I am so sorry this took forever to get up! I've honestly forgotten about this story. I am proud to say however that I will now be able to press the "complete" button on Brave Princess. A huge thank you to all of my readers. I would tag you all if I could, but you know who you are.
Love ya! On to the epilogue.
Clarke:
It was Jasper who got us out in the end. He rallied what was left of our people together to barge straight into one of the council's meetings. He tells me that he kicked down the door, but I have a sort of inkling in the back of my mind that he is over exaggerating.
Nevertheless, I'm grateful.
He never would tell us exactly what he had told my mother to convince her to let Bellamy and I go, but he must have really made her guilty. She's not one to change her mind really quickly. We only stayed a day in the cell. Of course, it was so dark we couldn't really tell time. But we were given three meals when we were in there.
The first thing we did when we were released was find what was left of our people. We took them with us when we left the camp and returned to the drop ship. We wanted to start over where it all had begun.
We moved the bodies that had collected there, throwing them over the wall and moving them to a clearing. And then we burned them. It wasn't pretty or fitting. But we all needed closure, and getting the bodies out of the camp was the first thing Bellamy and I knew we had to do.
I grabbed his hand as we watched the soldiers burn.

It took a month to rebuild the wall.
Throughout that time, I spent time with Octavia, who wanted to take me to see the overlook Asher had found. We spent days there, sitting in silence and sometimes saying the occasional word to each other, but mostly just basking in the peace. And then Lincoln, who had made the decision to come with us, would show up, and I would slip away.
I would walk in the woods for a time, or check up on the building. I could never spend too many hours away from camp. Its true that we weren't delinquents anymore--we knew how to wield guns, let alone a hammer. But we were still humans, and we were still clumsy.
In the month it took to rebuild the wall, I had to set nine broken bones. But no longer did the blood of my patients stain my clothes. We weren't fighting a war any longer.
We were living.

The wall is finished. I stand by Bellamy, looking around at the camp site. Smiles are on the faces of our people, and though none of us will ever be the same, at least now we know how to grin.
So I grin, and turn to the man beside me. "What do we do now?" I ask him.
Bellamy grins back and grabs my hip, pulling me into his side. "Whatever the hell we want."
AN: BAHHHHHH IT'S DONE! I have never in my life finished a long story like this one, and I can truly say that it feels amazing to do so. I've started so many lol, and most of them will NEVER be uploaded. Haha.
Thank you so much, everyone, for all of your kind comments. They make me smile! If you ever want to talk, you can private message me (I will respond! :D) or comment on one of my stories. Whatever! Haha. I will miss writing this story, but I am really happy that it's finished.
Oh! I started a Bellarke and the 100 instagram account. If you want, you can follow me at: leapinggrace_bellarke_ac. It's a simple username haha.
I am going to be now working on my other Bellarke stories, both the one shot collection and "Do Not Go Gentle."
Thank you for taking this journey with me. I love you all!
But, nevertheless, I might still Bellamy from Clarke. XD
