Caleb's P.O.V
I can't believe I ran into Ade and I can't believe she's seeing Mason. Mason of all people, he was getting with somebody while she was talking to me. He's so stupid and it's pissing me off. How can girls be so naive. After I saw Texas I couldn't stop thinking about her and it completely put me off this girl I'm trying to sleep with.
Sunday Morning I got a text from James who lives with my father saying I was needed back home urgently, he didn't say why but it sounded urgent so I decided it was time to go home. No matter what they do they're family and family will always come first. I had a hunch that this wasn't going to be good.
"Father why have I been rushed home? I have things to do?" While walking towards my fathers office I stopped in my tracks. "So if agree to do this you promise your men will leave my dad and family alone." My father was making deals I knew he wouldn't go through with, but that isn't the worst part normally I wouldn't care that he was making deals that he wouldn't keep but it's the person he was making deals with. The girl in front of my eyes was Texas. She had no choice she wanted to save her family and I could tell the thing that was going to hurt the most was the man she was being made to marry. And I know it's going to come back and bite her in the ass.
"Miss Texas I want you too meet my son, Xavier King. He just returned back from his travels and we will keep our deal if you keep yours. Xavier come here, come and meet your new fiancee." Do I walk out and expose myself or should I leave and get her family killed? No don't be selfish. "Ade, nice to see you again." She looked stunned.
"Caleb what are you doing here?" Shit I should've thought this through. "Caleb? So that means you must be the famous Ade from USC." She looked at my father in worry and I could just tell she wanted to back out of this deal but in the 4 months I've known her I knew she always put her family first.
It most definitely is going to kill Ade when she figures out the real reason she's here, what have I gotten myself into this time. It isn't a coincidence we met and she can never find that out, if the real reason I went to USC gets out Ade won't be happy.
