If we never went out on Saturday, none of this would've happened, King would be waking up to go to his normal Wednesday lesson and I'd be waking up to mason as my boyfriend. I woke up around 9am and I felt like weight had been lifted off my shoulder. I knew Mason was okay, now I just need to go check on King. I found his room within five minutes and I saw all my friends waiting outside. "What happened? Why aren't you inside?" Kenzie walked over to me and she looked so angry. I was scared, you never see this side of her unless it's serious. "Come with me Ade!" She dragged me down the hall into the girls toilets and she broke down. "Ade, where were you? What the fuck happened! I'm so scared, King doesn't deserve this." I couldn't believe Kenzie was crying in front of me. "I love him Ade, like really love him. I was with him when you called him to come get you. We was just making something of our relationship."

I pulled her into me, I can't believe this. "What did you do to him, to us?" She pushed me away and I felt so hurt. "It wasn't my fault Kenz, King come out of nowhere, Xavier tried to grab the gun and next thing you know it went off." Was it my fault, is he dying because of me? "You're lucky he's okay, because I would've killed you if anything happened to him." It's not the best time but I guess I should tell my best friend.

"I was raped." She looked at me completely stunned and I'm the one crying now, pathetic how am I going to get over it. "Xavier, well Caleb as you know him is the mafia boss and he slept with someone's girlfriend, he come after me. That's why I called King. I never meant for this to happen." She pulled me into a hug and I relaxed a bit. It was good to know I have good friends supporting me. "Don't tell anybody about him please, only you two know and I'd like to keep it that way."

On our way to Kings room I saw the police outside both his and Mason's room and I started to panic. "What are they doing here?" Kenzie looked up at the men in uniform and froze. "I guess someone called them, it's gonna look like the boys had a fight, someone will end up in prison unless I'm over reacting." I looked at King's mother and she looked tired. "Jackie, go home! Me and Kenzie will look after King." She looked up at me and only smiled.

"I'm gonna go see him, let me speak to him alone for a minute." I opened the door to his room and sat on his bed. "Oh King, look what I've caused. How could I be so stupid, I'm so so sorry!" I heard a little laugh and I panicked. "Ade, don't be a wussy, it was an accident I understand that, just please next time. Don't shoot me." I managed to get a little laugh out and it felt normal, like nothing has happened back at my apartment. "I love you King, really. You're the best friend anyone could have."
