Kodiac lowers his head, he ducks behind some bushes as a patrol goes by. He stuck around the pack's territory because he really wasn't sure of anything. Where was he suppose to go? Sure, he needed to find a place, but that wasn't very specific at all. Although, staying around was very dangerous. The alpha didn't seem to like him, if any of the wolves caught him here he could be in big trouble.
Kodiac lowers his ears in defeat. No wolf was going to take him back into the pack, he had to leave. With his paws dragging, Kodiac slowly pads off of the pack territory. He spreads his wings and takes off above the trees. He scans his surroundings before growling in frustration. "Sky Wolves, please lead the way," He whispers with closed eyes.
When he opens his eyes he notices in the far distance a moor. It looked like it would take a day or two to travel to if he flew most of the way. Kodiac decides that the moor seemed like a good option and begins flying towards it. It was way farther then he thought, only an hour or two passes and he was started to get tired. Granted he has never really used his wings like this before, but it was going to take a while for him to get there. He hadn't even passed the mountains that surrounded their little area of forest.
It was about sunset when Kodiac glided back to the ground. He folds his wings up and sniffs the air. The forest here seemed much more quiet than his home forest. Walking would have taken him through the night before he got here, so flying did save him some time.
Kodiac looks up at the trees, they seemed much taller and the leaves looked much darker. Taking that into note, he lowers his head and looks around. The weird sensation of being watched tugged at his pelt, to make it worse, he smelt a bear. Bears rarely visited his home forest, so he never really dealt with an angry one before.
It was now that Kodiac noticed claw marks, large claw marks, indented into the trees surrounded him. A bear was here. This was bear's territory. Kodiac spreads his wings and tries to fly up, he falls shortly and lets out a anxious whimper. He was way too tired to fly. With panic clawing its way up Kodiac's throat, he hurries deeper into the forest. He comes to the start of the mountain, there seemed to be no easy way up it.
Looking around, Kodiac decides to try going around to find an easier way to travel up the mountain, just until he got his energy back. Kodiac hears shuffling of leaves behind him and his heart speeds up,he begins to race away, staying along the mountain. He slows his pace after a while, he didn't see anymore claw marks on the trees and assumed he was safe. As the stars begin to shine, a small wind blows through his white fur.
Kodiac wedges himself between two rocks besides the mountain. He curls into a tight ball and shuts his eyes tight. Slowly, his thoughts wander back to the pack. To Felicity. Her beautiful green eyes, her sleek black coat. And she was gone, Kodiac could never go pack to the pack, he could never see her again. She had a job, being the healer was a big deal. Kodiac was on his own, he had to travel alone..
The wind picks up, it was howling now. It seemed to whisper 'The bird will soar..' Kodiac begins to doze off. 'To find the fawn...'
