Forgotten ( A Gruvia FanFiction)

Chapter- 1

"Gray-sama!" shouts a long blue hair mage.

"Ugh....What does she want now? *sighs*" the raven hair boy mumbled to himself.

The blue hair mage ran to meet up with her beloved that sat down on a table near the request board in a noisy guild. She wore a long blue dress with the sides slit up to her hips and exposing her bare legs that were half way covered with long dark brown socks and boots. Juvia was a very pretty girl maybe even sexy, but the cold hearted Gray will never admit it, so he usually just looks away with an annoyed face but really and truly he is holding back from painting his face Tomato red.

"What is it Juvia?" he asked as he put his elbow on the table and place his head in his palm, tilting it slightly with a tired look on his face. He was never able to get a break away from her, it bothered him alot, because a person like Gray likes to be alone. He never knew though, that deep inside, he honestly enjoyed her company.

"Juvia is going on a 3 day mission with Wendy-san and Carla-san!" she said excitedly.

Gray P.O.V

I looked at her blankly. Was she serious? Is that all she wanted to tell me? Why did she have to get all excited? Tsk....I'll never understand this baka.

"Okayyy...I guess...have fun..." I said in a uninterested voice.

She started blushing and fidgeting with her fingers in front of her chest. She looked like if she had more to say.

"Is there something else?" I asked interrupting her train of thoughts.

She was getting nervous and I sighed, getting impatient.

" Well if there's nothing else th-..."

"No wait!" she said cutting me off.

"Hm?" I said averting my attention to her.

"J...Juvia would like to know if ...if Gray-sama would like to accompany h-her..." she stammered.

Inner Gray: Dude! she's asking you to go with her! Freakin say yes!

Shut up! I am not going!

Inner Gray: Oh come on! how could you possibly resists that cutie!? Look at her! She's like a little puppy just begging for your attention! Stop being a jerk and admit you like her!

Uh! W-what! I do not! What the hell are you saying!? just shut up and get out of my head!

Juvia's fingers then snapped in front of me, freeing me from my fight with...myself ? Eh Whatever. I looked at her hopeful, dark blue eyes and sighed while closing my eyes.

"Sorry...I'm not interested..."

The sparkle of hope in her eyes disappeared and was replaced with disappointment. Her hands fell to her sides and she looked down onto the floor. She tried to force up a smile and hide her sadness...but she wasn't fooling me...

"J-juvia sees...Gray-sama must be very b-busy...Juvia is sorry for bothering you..." she bowed her head slightly and walked away sulking.

Inner Gray: Dumbass! Look what you did!

Oh just zip it me! I can't always go on missions with her ya'know!? what am I? her babysitter? Tch!

Inner Gray: Baka...

Whatever....

Normal P.O.V

Gray watched as the water mage took off with the white feline and the sky dragon slayer maiden. Did he make the right choice of choosing not to go with her? He was beginning to have second thoughts, but then a sudden force knocked him off of his seat and he fell to the ground with a bruised cheek.

"Oii! Who the heck threw that!?" he shouted angrily at the battling crowd.

"Gomen Ice princess! I was aiming at Iron head and accidentally targeted your messed up face!" the pink, spiky hair boy shouted.

"Nani!? who you calling an Iron head! Pyro!" the male mage with piercings shouted!

"I'll kill you Natsu! who are you calling Messed up!" the ice mage shouted back and charged for the fire mage known as Natsu Dragneel.

Juvia P.O.V

I watched as Gray-sama got up and started fighting with Natsu-san. He really didn't have any interest in Juvia at all...he didn't even care to look my way when I was about to leave.

"Juvia-san? Are you alright?" the sweet innocent girl with the indigo hair asked.

"Hai Wendy-san! Juvia is ready to leave whenever you are!" I said cheerily, not wanting to let Wendy know of my sadness.

Wendy nodded and smiled brightly at Carla who did the same in return and they both walked out the double-wide doors that led to the outside world. I followed slowly behind them and took one last glance at Gray, he was still wrestling with Natsu and the others and not taking heed of my departure.

"Goodbye...Gray-sama.." I said as I walked and disappeared into the light that shun through the open doors.

Gray P.O.V

I finally got a chance to break away from the fight and only got a glimpse of the flowing ocean blue hair disappearing into the light.

"Juvia..." I unconsciously whispered out.

That's when I was suddenly hit by an incoming fist.

"Stop spacing out popsicle stick and fight me!"

I wiped the edge of my mouth with my knuckle and lunged at Natsu.

"Who says I'm spacing out flame brain!"

And so the fight continued....
