Chapter- 7

She Forgot him...

~At Gray's apartment in the night~

Gray stood there staring into the water mage's deep, aquamarine pool eyes. He couldn't see the sparkle she always had in them and the love for him  either. Juvia was starting to get uncomfortable and moved away from him. He kept staring at the empty space, while she tried to get up and walk. At first, she was wobbly but she used the beside counter for support and took a few steps...then stumbled onto the ground.

*Thud* 

"O-ow > . <" she whimpered.

This caught the ice mage's attention and he quickly went to her side to help her but when he reached out to touch her she...slapped away his hand. 0.0 

"J-Juvia? wha-..."

"No! D-don't touch J-Juvia! y-you stranger!" she stammered while trying to shout.

Fullbuster couldn't believe it, here, the girl who always wanted to touch him sat, and now she's refusing to be touched by him?....It pained Gray more than he could imagine, but he was clueless to that fact. Right now his mind wasn't in its correct place. He unconsciously moved closer and stretched out his hand to try and touch her again but felt something wet had scrapped his cheek. Juvia had a thin water line circling her body. It seemed as though she wasn't back to her full strength yet because if she were, she could have sliced his head off clean. Streaks of fine blood ran down his cheek and onto the floor. Juvia watched as he didn't seem to care that he was hurt, he was only fixed on her. The two held eye contact...One with fear and the other with shock. The room oozed with silence until a knock was heard at the door. 

"Oii! Snowball! Its me! Are you home? I wanna come in!" said a familiar annoying voice.

*Smack!*

"Ow! Lucy! what was that for???" he whined as Lucy slapped him across the head.

"That's not how you ask to come in someone else's home baka!" she scolded.

"Alright, alright, esssh we've been knocking for so long I just thought I'd-..."

Lucy glared at him and he immediately stopped talking.

"Gray, we're coming in okay!" she said while opening the door.

Natsu was the first to walk in and was embraced tightly by a crying Juvia!? 0.0 

"N-nani???? 0.0 Juvia????" he said while looking at her hugging his t-shirt firmly and weeping into it. Lucy instantly showed a blushing shocked face and looked like if she was about to explode with jealousy.

"J-Juvia! Get off hi-...I mean...what happened?" she asked trying to hold back her envy.

"P-please help Juvia...T-There is a stranger w-who's trying to...to touch J-Juvia..." she wept out.

"Uh! Nani!? Where is this bastard at!? Imma give him a piece of my mind!" Natsu said while narrowing his eyes and walked passed Juvia with a clenched fist and gritted teeth.

Gray P.O.V 

When the knocking was heard, Juvia dashed straight out of the room. I followed her but was stumbling all over myself. What was with me? I saw two dark figures stood beside Juvia and I shouted her name thinking she was in danger.

"Juvi-...uh!"

My shirt was tugged and the impact of a knuckle hit me on my cheek. My head snapped back and I fell to the floor on my back.

"What the hell!?" I said while wiping the drool that trailed down my chin. 

"Nani? Gray? What are you doing here?" the salmon hair boy asked confused.
