It's intriguing how our hearts can guide us into the path which can lead us to happiness and love. But... it's also interesting how our minds can override our hearts and lead us elsewhere.

Is it fear of repeating the past? Is it insecurity of our own capabilities? Or is it resentment of how negative experiences have molded us, making us close ourselves off to everyone and everything?
Maybe it's all of it plus some.
Well, whatever the case, it can prevent us from going where we need to be and let ourselves be misled into thinking and feeling that we are going in the right direction.
...
It took me too long to learn this, but hopefully everyone will open their hearts and try to understand why.
