21. Stay

[Your POV]

That night, you tossed and turned. You didn't know why but you just couldn't sleep. It was bothersome. You sat up and sighed. "Maybe it's with all these boys around me."

You stood up and went to the kitchen. You got yourself a glass of water and gulped it down. You sighed again. This wasn't helping. You then started thinking about (F/N) and how you actually felt sorry for lying.

Maybe you should go home.

"Your leaving?"you heard a voice say.

Oops. Did you say that out loud? You turned around and saw JungKook standing there. His hair looked like it's been rubbed against his pillow for a long time and he was still wrapped in his blanket.

You smiled weakly. "I have to apologize to (F/N). I just have to."

"But why can't you just call her?"he asked, walking closer.

"Because, if I do it in person I won't get a voicemail."you scratched your head.

JungKook looked like he was about to cry. Before a tear escaped his eye he hugged you. Really tightly.

"Please stay...please..."he begged. "I need you. I really do."

You felt like you were about to cry so you bit your lip. "I-I'll stay. But only a little longer. But you have to help me. And don't tell anyone."

"But-"

"No one." You cut him off and pulled away from the hug. "Promise?"

He looked at you with glassy eyes but smiled supportively. "Promise."

"Perfect. We've got to start tomorrow so get some rest."you said and pat his back softly.

"Okay. Sleep well."he said and hugged you one last time.

When he left, you felt like something was missing. You didn't know what but whatever it was, you wanted to have it. Really badly.

You got another glass of milk and drank it slowly. It seems like you've made new best friends. It's really be hard to leave them. But it's the right thing to do. You have to.
