You woke up to see intense azure eyes staring down at your tired (y/e/c) ones. Since you just woke up, it took you a moment to register who it was.
"Oh, hey Cas. What are you doing here?" you ask, confused to why he was in the bunker. There weren't any cases to research at the moment.
"Where is Dean?" he said urgently, ignoring your question. You had always loved his deep, scratchy voice.
"Either in the kitchen or the library," you replied, brushing your (y/h/c) hair out of your eyes. And with that, Cas flashed out. You went down to the bathroom to brush your teeth and get changed, but had to wait for Sam to hurry up.
"Mornin' (y/n)," he yawned as he left the bathroom.
"Mornin' Moose," you mocked, smirking as he jokingly glared down at you. "Do you know why Cas is here?" you asked.
Now it was his turn to smirk. His face told you that he knew, but he wasn't going to tell you.
"Dangit Sam. Come on, you can tell me! Is there a case he found?" you said, now your curiosity getting the better of you.
"Cas'll tell you later," he replied, smiling mischievously.
"Fine," you grumbled as you walked into the bathroom. After you were ready for the day, (you weren't really hungry, so you ended up skipping breakfast), you heard Cas, Sam, and Dean talking in the bunker's library.
"How do I tell her I like her? She's perfect, and I want to protect her from any danger that comes her way," You heard Cas say quietly, but not sure to which brother.
"Just tell her, man. She likes you too, trust me. The way she looks at you, and how happy she is when you appear in here," Dean says to Cas. Are they talking about you? They can't be. You always had a major crush on Castiel, but you knew he couldn't like you back. Could he?
"Yeah, just go up to her and tell her. What's the worst she could do? Say no?" Sam backed his brother up.
You decided that was enough eavesdropping and went listen to music on your IPod, and think about what you had just heard. You were listening to (y/f/s) on your bed, staring at the ceiling, when you felt a presence appear next to you, then a tap on your shoulder. You took your earbuds out and looked up to see Cas.
He glanced down at you before saying, "There's something I've been meaning to tell you," he said nervously.
Giggling a little at how nervous he was, you said, "Yeah, Cas, what is it?" you replied, though you were pretty sure you knew what he was about to say.
"I... I uh... Ireallylikeyou(y/n)," he quickly stuttered, looking at his feet, barely audible.
"What Cas?" you said, "I didn't quite catch that," you said, wanting to hear him say it clearly.
He took a deep breath, and said, as clearly and as slowly as he could, "I really like you, (y/n), ever since the first time I met you. You're one of the most beautiful beings on this planet." You saw how he was trying to hide his blush, and giggled a little. An angel of the lord was blushing over you.
He was staring at you intently while you said, "I've liked you, too Cas. Ever since I first saw you, I had a crush on you."
Then he did it. The adorable head tilt and squinty eyes. Before he could even ask, you quickly clarified, "A crush is when one person really, really likes another person."
"Oh," he said, smiling after you explained it. His smile was great, it always caused you to smile with him. It could light a room.
Without even realizing it, you and him were both leaning forward. He quickly glanced at your lips, then back up to your eyes. You leaned in the rest of the way, and when your lips connected, it felt like a shock of electricity went through your body. That's when the lights in your bedroom started to dim and then explode with sparks flying everywhere.
"Oops..." Cas said sheepishly as you started to laugh. You were giggling so hard you fell off the bed, accidentally dragging Cas with you. He fell on top of you, and you both looked into each other's eyes, and saw him smiling at how hard he made you laugh.
"Now. Where were we?" you asked him.
And we'll just leave it at that.
