You walked over to the bunker door when you heard it creak open, knowing the boys were home from the Witch hunt.

"How'd it go?" you asked them. "Where's Cas?"

They both looked at each other and back at you. Before they could say a word, you heard a bark and paws running towards you. One second you were standing, the next you were pinned to the ground by a big black and white husky. It had eyes that looked exactly like... "Oh god," you mumble, trying to get out from under the dog. You looked at Sam and Dean and said, "How did you get Cas turned into a dog?"

They both started talking at the same time before Sam stopped Dean and said, "The Witch cast a spell on him right before we killed her. It didn't take effect immediately, so we thought were good to go, but right before we got to the car, Cas passed out and shifted five minutes later."

"We need you to dog sit while we try and find a reverse spell for this," Dean sighed.

"Great," you groaned. At least you had nothing planned for the day. "Wanna go for a walk, buddy?" you asked Cas, whose ears perked up. "C'mon, Cas."

Before leaving, you decided you didn't need a leash, since Cas most likely won't chase other dogs or squirrels. Walking outside, a breeze ruffled your hair slightly. You guys walked awhile, until Cas yipped at you to stop. Looking at Cas, he stared at you with his blue eyes. He barked at you, signaling you to turn around. "Alright, alright," you said turning. After a minute, he barked again, showing that you could turn around again. You turned to head back to the bunker, Cas by your side. Ever since you first met Cas, you knew you had fell in love, and you fell hard. But, you knew he couldn't love you back. He barely had any emotion, let alone love.

"Any luck?" you called to the boys when you returned.

"Nothing so far. We're hoping that we might find something by tonight," Dean called from the library.

"Watcha wanna do, Cas?" you asked him, only to get a head tilt in return. "Netflix it is." Cas followed you to your room, and stood near your bed while you got your laptop from your duffel. Jumping on your bed, you patted the spot next to you, saying, "C'mon Cas." He eagerly jumped up and curled beside you, putting his head on your thigh, sighing with content. You decided to watch some older Spongebob episodes. No matter how old you are, you will always and forever enjoy Spongebob. When your clock hit one forty-five, you decided it was a good time to stop and to go to bed.

"Alright, Cas, you gotta leave the room for a minute so I can change," you said, opening your bedroom door. You thought you heard him whimper, but you probably just imagined it. After you changed, you opened the door to let Cas back in. He bolted back onto your bed before you could even completely open the door. Cas dove under your covers, and squirmed around to poke his face out from under them. He was so freakin' adorable! You joined him, and turned off the lamp by your bed.

"Goodnight, Cas," you said softly. He licked your hand in return, then pressed close to you, curling into a ball. Before you fell asleep, you realised something. Cas may be a dog, but doesn't he still have his own conscious? That means that when Cas licked you, it was equivalent to a kiss. You were probably just overthinking it. It was probably some dog instinct that was a side effect of the curse. You fell asleep right after these thoughts passed through your head.

You woke up the next morning, expecting to see a husky curled up beside you. Instead, you saw an angel (fully clothed, unfortunately) with his arms wrapped around you protectively. When you tried to move, his eyes shot open.

"Good Morning, (y/n)," Cas softly spoke, his voice even more rough than it normally is from sleep. He was so close to you that his stubble tickled your forehead.

"Erm, good morning, Cas," you said awkwardly, though you were happy beyond belief. "I see you're back to normal."

Instead of talking, he only responded with a nod, hugging you closer to his chest. He was so warm. You could just stay here forever and not complain.

You didn't know this, but Sam and Dean had found a reversal spell after both of you fell asleep, and snuck in here last night to cast it.

After a little while, you looked at Cas, and he looked back, his azure eyes locking with your (y/e/c) ones. He leaned down ever so slightly, and gently kissed you on the lips. Without a moment's hesitation, you kissed back. You did this until you had to pull back for air.

"You don't no how long I've wanted to do that for," he spoke wistfully.

You pressed your lips to his again and mumbled against them, "Trust me, I do."
