I couldn't sleep tonight. I couldn't lose Larish. She was my only friend. Now sh ewill be placed in a different school and with a different life. Who would I talk to after she left? And why didn't she tell me about Cartain? Even though I kind of noticed. The way they looked at each other and their marks were dark green.
But I guess I'll have to look for someone I can survive with.
That person, I guess, will be Jax.
