Mary POV:
"Ron, what are those?" I don't really no why I'm in there dorm. But Seamus is in here so I have an excuse. "My dress robes." he says quietly. I want to laugh but I know Ron's family has money problems and there probably hand-me downs. "Who are you going with?" "Um no one, yet." "What about you Harry?" "No one either. I asked Cho Chang but she going with, Cedric." He says Cedric so loathingly and I feel bad. I can tell he really liked Cho. "Well I ought to get going." Then I leave to go get Hermione. "Hey Hermione. It's fashion show time!" "What are you talking about?" she says while laughing. "I wanna see your Yule Ball gown. It's in less a week you know." "Fine I'll go get it. You have to get yours too." "K I'll meet you on the second floor bathroom." I hid my shrunken dress under Harry's pillow, just incase of Lavender. She been laying low lately but you never know. "Harry! I need to grab something." "The dress?" "Yea just toss it to me, thank you!" I walk to the bathroom and find Hermione already there. "Wow you got here fast." "Yes. Where's your dress?" I return my dress to normal size and show it to her. "Let's go get them on." This is my first time wearing my dress since I got it. I really hope it still fits. I walk out of the stall and wait for Hermione. "Hurry up! We have Charms in an hour!" "Ok ok I'm ready." Hermione walks out. "It's um, wow. Different?" "I know I know my mum picked it out." I don't want to be mean, but Hermione's dress is... not my style. "When I was at Hogwarts we didn't have a Yule Ball. Not that anyone would ask me anyway." a turn around to see Moaning Myrtle. "Hello Myrtle " Hermione and I say at the same time. " Who is Harry going with?" Hermione and I laugh at her fondness of Harry. "Well I bet you'll think his is funny!" Myrtle turns on the faucet and splashes Hermione with a ton of water. "Myrtle! "She yells" "This was my only dress and now it's ruined!" "I have an idea, I'll tell you when classes are over. But first, rate my dress." Then I twirl to give her a full view. "8.5, after all the hair and accessories I'm sure it'll be a 10." "Charms is our last class right?" "Yes, why?" "Meet me in the common room after Charms ok?" Then we undress and put our robes back on.
Hermione POV:
After Charms I meet Mary and Ginny in the Common Room. I don't know what her plan is, but her plans usually fail so I don't know if I want to do this." "Oh relax, what's the worst thing that could happen? Never mind don't answer that." I follow her to the seventh floor an we walk back and forth 3 times. "Are you sure you know what your doing?" I ask her "Yea trust me on the one." On our third time back there's a door there that wasn't there before. "I am about to show you hundreds of one of a kind dress and accessories that are designed just to fit you two. " "What about shoes?" "Included in acessories." We walk in and she's right. The room is huge and the gowns are organized by color. "Wow" is all I could say "The dressing rooms over there, shoes that way and I'll be in the accessories if you need me. Oh and Ginny, dresses for you are that side and Hermione that side" "Ok but first, what color looks good on me?" "I would try purples and blues. If you don't like any of those try... reds or pinks." "Ok thanks." "Tell me when your trying them on. And Ginny you know what colors look good on you but don't get a silver one." "So Ginny what color dress do you want?" "I'll probably get an olive green one how about you?" "Purple most likely." "See you in a few." I walk into the aisle wih the purple dresses and instantly find one. I grab it but keep looking just in case this one doesn't look good on me. I grab two more purple dresses and two blues. Then I met up with Mary and Ginny at the fitting rooms. "How many dresses did you grab?" "Five I think." "Same." I deciede to on my least favorite dresses first and save the best for last. "First dresses ladies." Ginny and I both step out right as Mary says this. Ginny is wearing a short gold one while I am wearing a poofy blue one. "Hmmm Ginny 6.5 Hermione 6. But if you like these ones don't let me choose for you." Then we both step out in our second dresses. "Ginny 6 Hermione 7" We continue this for 15 minutes until we are both in our last dresses. "I saved the best for last!" I yell excitedly "Same!" Then we both step out. "Ooh! Tens for both of you!" I look at Ginny she's wearing a pink and green dress. It looks cute on her. "So I guess we have our dresses." I say "Yes we do." Ginny replies "Do you guys need shoes or anything?" "No I think I'm covered. Do you need anything Ginny?" "Nope." "Well I guess we should get back to the common room." Mary says. Ginny and I shrink our dresses like Mary did so we don't look weird or anything. I'm so excited. Two days can't come fast enough.
Mary POV:
"You guys still don't have dates?" "Well everyone already has dates!" Ron says to me. Harry and Ron are waiting for the last minute to ask someone "Harry all the champions need dates!" I say to him "I'll just go with Hermione and Harry can go with Ginny." Ron should not have said that. Hermione got so mad at him then she stormed off to our dorm. She said something about using her as a last resort date. Ginny didn't go psycho though. "You shouldn't have said that." Then Lavender and Parvati walk by. Harry asks Parvati and she says yes. Ron asked Lavender but she said she was going with Seamus like all in you face Mary ha ha ha. But then Parvati is all like oh my sister isn't going with anyone so maybe she will go with you Ron blah blah blah Lavender's my best friend I hate you too Mary. Then they come back over. "So guys it's turns out Malfoy took some polyjuice potion and asked me to the Yule Ball. So now I don't have a date either! Funny right!" "Hilarious" Ron says. "Well I'm going to bed. See you in the A.M."
