I think of all the gifts to want,
Of all the things that could be;
I think of all of the good luck charms,
I want and wish for daily.A person is forgetful,
A charm that could be lost.
Cloth and coin can wear away,
It's a watch that I have sought.For a watch is ever truthful,
Yet has one to ever lie;
Not the watch of earthly wares, instead,
The watch that's ticking deep inside.Your watch is forever ticking,
The watch you keep in your heart;
That watch counts on forever,
It need never stop nor start.A watch can never take from you,
But so neither can it bring.
A watch won't ever look back, you see,
It moves on to better things.There is instead of an object
A thing, a reason, a crest;
So that you can look to better things,
A watch is truly the best.

PoesieJust a bunch of random, unrelated poems, most of them will probably be funny or moody, I love a good laugh but I get a little philosophical. I wrote most of these poems in school, and all of them will be my own work. All rights reserved.
