"Now that I've learnt to control my jumping, what dimension should I jump to?" I say speedily.
"Hmm. Maybe the-"
I interrupt him.
"Hurry up!" I say impatiently.
"Sshh. Maybe the Reverse Dimension," he suggests.
"COOL!"
"Time to jump, Jumper," he tells me, smiling at the word similarity.
Poof.
"Whoa."
"Whoa," I breathe. "The buildings are upside down and the people... they're talking... in reverse."
I walk down the street, the tar being white and the lines being black, and look around at all the strange things.
Shortly after arriving, I spot a familiar looking person.
"Whoa. You look like me. Oh my god," I realise, "You are me."
*Reverse speak* "Ouy evah ot teg tuo fo ereh."
"What? Why do I have to get out of here?" I ask, confused.
*Reverse speak* "Esuaceb er'yeht gniog ot llik ouy. Teg tuo fo ereh. Won!"
A small group of ghostly figures appear a short way down the street make their way toward us.
"What are those?" I wonder to myself.
*Reverse speak* "Ereh Yeht emoc," the other me says, pointing down the street in distress.
"Oh my god," I say, as he turns and runs away.
Poof.
I take several deep breaths to try and calm my racing heart.
"What happened in there, Jumper?"
"I saw me-I mean myself-then ghostly people came and tried to kill me."I say, out of breath.
"How long did it take me to jump this time?" I ask, knowing that the jump time gets shorter each time I jump.
"Just about fifteen minutes," he answers.
"OK. I'm just going to pass out now."
And all goes black.
