Minecraft: The Last Few Standing

Missy wakes on the beach regaining her awareness right away. This server was one that was abandoned due to intense griefing. But, it was also rumored to be haunted. She starts off collecting supplies, wood, food, and starts to mine. Whilst mining Missy comes across an abandoned mineshaft, clearly tampered with, most likely with TNT, nothing out of the ordinary.

It is the night of Missy's first day on the server. She doesn't believe all of the rumors she's heard, those of that Herobrine haunts the server, and that ghosts of killed players stalk the night. Putting those thoughts aside she crafts herself a bed and drifts off to sleep in her makeshift little shack she called a home.

Missy wakes with a start, stumbling out of her bed to find a strange blonde haired girl standing before her. Still half alseep, she stands, rubbing her eyes trying to sort out what was going on.

"I thought this server was abandonded, who is she?" She wondered in her head.

"HELLO???" the blonde haired girl called out.

Missy jumped back, realizing this girl was talking to her. "What is your name?" The blonde haired girl asked with a wide smile. Still dazed Missy replied "I-i'm Miss Endergirl, but you can call me Missy."

"Oh well my name's Grace! Hey, do you think we could kind of team up?" Grace asked cheerfully.

"Uh sure! But one question, I thought this server was abandoned, why are you here?" Missy asked, very curious to the answer.

"I'm here to see if the rumors are true, to see if Herobrine and ghosts of dead players really do haunt the island." Grace said with determination. "But I don't think we are the only players here..." She added trailing off.

Later on in the day Missy and Grace head out in search for some valuable, in other words, Diamonds. They start strip mining until they come across a decent sized cave system, but it has two branching pathes.

"I know this is a bad idea..." Grace says hesitently "But we should split up if we want to find diamonds as soon as possible." Missy nods in agreement, but she doesn't have a good feeling about this

"Yeah, you're right. I'll take the path on the left." She says and starts off into the complex of the cave, Grace going the other direction.

Missy sticks close to the beginning of where the two caves branch apart."I hope Grace is smart enough to not wander to far into the caves." Missy prays silently in her head.

She continues throughout the cave, stripping it of all minerals. Missy then comes across an abandoned mineshaft, the same one she found earlier.

"Wait, what's that?!" Missy says to herself excitedly. There's no mistaking it, that glimmer in the darkness of these twisting mines HAS to be diamonds! "Hey Grace, I found so-" Missy then was suddenly interrupted by a scream piercing the air.

"Oh no, Grace!" Missy sprints off toward the other branching path of the cave, running while in her mind hoping that she isn't too late...
