Austin stares into the eyes of Thalia, startled by her sudden approach, "Uh... Well, I'm on the hunt to get revenge on Herobrine for killing my best friend."
"Oooh you poor thing." Thalia coos, giving him a hug, "Well, I'll help you get revenge on Herobrine!"
"T-thanks!" Austin says, his face turning red slowly.
Missy stands eyes staring at the scene unfolding before her. "Why did I have to fall for him?" Missy thinks, wanting to hit herself across the face "You've done this before and broke your heart the same way, why would you do this to yourself?"
"Hey Missy... Are you ok?" Grace asks tapping Missy's shoulder. Her face was completely flushed of all color, her skin seemed pale and ghost like and her eyes were fixed to the ground, she was clearly thinking something.
"Wha- oh sorry, just thinking about how we are going to go about finding/killing Herobrine." Missy says a bit quickly.
"Good idea, I'll start crafting some armor for us all." Declan says, picking up the iron and carrying it to the crafting bench.
"I'll start making weapons for us all!" Emma says eager to get going.
"I'll scout the area for any signs of were Herobrine might be." Graces says, walking out of the base.
Missy turns to face Austin and Thalia, "Well how about we go and farm the crops so we'll have food for the journey."
"Sure, come on Austin." Thalia struts out of the base of towards the farm.
Missy smiles till Austin turns to face away from her then she walks toward the farm as well glaring at the back of Thalia's head. After some time farming Austin moved to a different field to collect some potatoes instead of just carrots. While Missy and Thalia continue to farm in the same field, Missy realizes something, Thalia was wearing a a blue and red necklace that had a faint glow to it.
Missy puts down her plow, straightening her back, "Hey Thalia, if you don't mind me asking, what is the special necklace for?" She says gesturing to the odd jewelry.
Thalia's expression is suddenly grim, she stares at the crops and her feet and replies, it was my mother's before she died..."
Missy stands in awe, suddenly feeling sympathy for the girl.
"You see..." Thalia starts, "My mom was born with an illness that over time, kills you dead. You'll start seeing the signs and then soon after that BOOM, you're dead. This necklace is very rare, it keeps you alive even when you are on the brink of death. Once I was born my mom realized that I would probably inherit the illness and sure enough when I turned 5 i started having the symptoms. She knew i would die, so she gave me the necklace so I could live out the rest of my life, and only a few minutes after taking her necklace off... My mom died." She turns away from me, I soon realize she is crying.
"...I'm so sorry." Missy breathed the words her eyes beginning to water herself.
"It's fine..." She says shortly. Then begins to furiously dig out the carrots.
"Maybe i misjudged her..." Missy thinks to herself, "Still, I am going to keep her away from Austin, even if it kills me." She starts uprooting carrots, plotting on how to stop Thalia.
