Chapter 5 The World Doesn't Need Me

Samantha's POV

I rush to get out of bed. I stand up very dizzy and run out with Dan. He can see im unstable and he picks me up and runs as fast as he can. We run outside in the parking lot and i find Ally, and Phil. We run up to them and see the building explode. Then there is a rush of cold and i see Ally concentrate on the building then time moves slower. All the people fall to the ground slowly. Not getting hurt. I look up at Dan and he looks as confused as i do.

Samantha-"What just happened?"

Dan-"I don't know but lets move away from the building. I don't want you getting hurt."

He runs all the way to our apartment. He takes me into his room. I see his llama hat,and his stuffed animals. He lays me down in his bed and covers me up. He takes my hand and we sit there for a little while. I try to turn over but i groan. Dan looks over and sees me trying to turn his way. I look down at my side. I have a huge green and black bruse on my side.

Dan-"Are you ok?'

Samantha-"Yeah, Dan i have to tell you something."

Dan-"What?"

Samantha-"I-I-I like you."

Dan looks shocked for a second. Then he looks down at me and says. "I need to take a walk." Oh crap i just blew it. I tell him i'll just stay here. He leaves and I wait 10 minutes to make sure no one is coming. I just lost the only happy thing in my life. I go to the kitchen. I get the knife and make 3 cuts on the top of my arm. There very deep and the blood is going everywhere. I continue cutting all up my arm. I scream and watch the blood go down the sink. My vision starts go go all fuzzy and  I start to scream. I sit on the floor then all i see is black.

Dan's POV

"I need to take a walk."

I walk out of the house and slam the door shut. I go all the way to the park and just sit there. I start to cry. I feel so sorry for Samantha and i really do care about her. I'm probably the only thing happy that has come to her in her life and i just blew it. I was happy when she said she would try and stop cutting. Wait, she just lost the most happiest thing in her life. She has so much pressure put onto her. Oh crap what have i done. I run as fast as i can to the house. When i get outside our door i hear screaming. Oh no. I go inside and see Samantha laying on the floor cold and white as a ghost. I see the knife in her hand. I see a big pool of blood all around her body. Oh no oh no oh no what do i do.

"Samantha! Samantha!" i shake her im crying and shaking. Pick her up and lay her in my bed i get in next to her still shaking and crying. I cuddle her up next to me hoping she won't die.

"Please Samantha please be alive"

Phil comes home and sees me cuddling Samantha in the bed. He starts to smile but the smile soon turns into a frown. He rushes over and looks at Samantha

"Dan! What happened!"

:I don't know she told me she loved me then I ran out. I got back and she was screaming and lying on the floor with a knife in her hand bleeding badly."

"Do you love her?"

I get rushed emotions. Do i love her? Do i enjoy cuddling her right here?

"I-I-I think so."

"Well come on there i need to ring the ambulance."

He hurrys to the phone while i stay with her holding her in my arms.
