Love At First Sight(A danisnotonfire story)

Chapter 16

Samantha's POV

Dan goes in and talks to his mum about the baby shower for about 1 hour. During that time i talk to Phil. It's not awkward or anything. Thats what I like about Dan and Phil they forget about everything and move on with life. When Dan gets back he tells us the news.

"Well Samantha your having a baby shower, but mum doesn't know who to invite from your side of the family."

"No one. I don't have any family remember? And im not inviting Ally. You can invite anyone you want to because i don't really have anybody except for you guys."

"Okay" Dan looks sad. "Well im inviting some of my family. Phil you can come if you want."

"Sure i'll come."

Dan goes to the phone and talks to him mum more. I get my laptop out and go on google to look up places to have the baby shower.

"Dan!" I yell. 

Dan comes in with the phone still up to his ear. 

"Can we have it here?" He looks.

"Maybe" Then he runs back into the kitchen. I go on youtube. On the front page it has a picture of a blocky world called Minecraft. I look up minecraft. There is this one guy that popped up named PaulSoarsJR. Hes american. I watch some of his videos of his survive and thrive series. It's pretty cool. I go onto the website and buy Minecraft. I start playing. I punch down trees and build my house. Dan comes in and looks at what im playing.

"Minecraft?"

"Yeah i got an account its really cool."

"I'v seen videos about it but i never bothered to play it."

We sit there for a while just playing Minecraft. Then Phil comes in and watches. We all play and have fun. Just like there is no stress in our lifes. Forgeting everything. It feels good not to have to worry about the baby and things. After that I put my laptop away and Phil and Dan sit on the bed with me.

"Okay guys who wants to go baby clothes shopping with me i don't want to go alone."

"I will." They both say. We go out the door and to the store. I buy some diapers and Dan and Phil look for a good looking crib. We go and check out with 10 new baby clothes and a crib that we have to put up ourselfs.

"Dan looks like we will have to make a new video but instead of building a wardrobe we will build a crib." Phil says. Dan laughs and we walk home. Phil and I get the box and set it in the living room and open it up. Dan gets the camera and sets it up. We make start to make the video. There is a bunch of "Thats what she said" moments in there. Finally we built the crib. Dan moved the crib into our room while Phil started editing the video.

"Samantha come here." Phil said. He showed me how to edit videos. I helped him and we finished it in less then an hour. 

The next day Dan and Phil go and see how the baby shower is going. We invited over 100 people. Of course not people i would know. While they go I go onto Minecraft and play a little bit.

Dan's POV

When Phil and I go to the place we see pink ribbon all around. It's cute Samantha will love it. I'v been thinking of proposing to her but I don't know if its the right choice yet.

"Phil?"

"Yeah."

"Should I...propose to Samantha?"

"Dan! You want to propose! Yes you should!"

"Well iv been wanting to but I don't know if i should right now."

"You should you guys have been dating for 2 years and the baby is coming in a month."

"Well...Want to go ring shopping with me?"

"Sure!" As we walk out the door Phil keeps rambling on but one thing I hear from him im going to do. 

"Dan! You should propose during the baby shower tomorrow!"

"I should."

The rest of the day we go ring shopping and Phil finds the perfect one with diamonds, its beatutiful...and 100 dollars. We bought it and we run home. I kiss Samantha hello and tell Phil to hide the ring in his room. We get to sleep early. I can barly sleep because im so excited.

When we get up we all pile in a taxi so Samantha doesn't have to walk. I keep feeling the ring in my pocket. We get there and Samantha sits down while we wait for everyone to come. While she is opening gifts I go to Phil and ask him when.

"When shes done with presents."

When she was done with presents I go up to her.

"Everyone I have an announcement!" Everyone quiets down. I get down on my knee and reach for the ring in my pocket. 

"Oh my god!"

"Samantha will you marry me?"

"Oh my god yes!" I put the ring on her finger and she kisses me. Everyone cheers. Phil comes over and smiles.

"I have to go to the restroom." He runs away. Me and Samantha sit down while people come over to congradulate us.

We get home and watch TV for an hour.
