Chapter 4

Ashton's P.O.V

I woke up feeling confused to where I was. I tried to move but couldn't due to arms being around me. I smiled and blushed a little realizing that I was cuddling with Luke. And the memories of last night flooded back and I felt my face heating up knowing that we basically made out after we admitted our feelings for each other. I looked at Luke, thinking to myself how cute he looked when he was sleeping. I reached my hand up and  brushed some of his fringe from his forehead. His face scrunched up and sighed a little opening his eyes. He smiled really big and I smiled back.

"Hey Ash." His voice was hoarse when he said my name. I blushed and looked him in the eyes. 

"Hi Luke." He smiled and poked my dimple. 

"How's your lip?" I frowned, the images of my dad screaming at me and hitting me flooding back. I sighed knowing that he would want to talk about my dad hitting me. 

"My lip doesn't hurt that much, it's  mainly my stomach but don't worry I am fine." Luke frowned and pulled the blankets off us and took the bottom of my shirt and pulled it up revealing a purple and blue bruise covering half of my stomach. He ran his hand gently over the bruise and I shivered at the touch. 

"Don't lie to me ash, you're not fine." I frowned, but I decided to take his mind off of it. I straddled him and kissed him softly. Luke squeaked, not expecting me to do that.  He slowly wrapped his arms around my torso, and I cupped his face with my hands. He pulled away slightly breathless and I smiled knowing that I made that happen. With Luke's hand still on my torso, I asked the question that we both wanted answers to. 

"When are we going to eat?" He smiled and laughed at the childish question although in reality it is an important question, because really who doesn't like food? And since it was Saturday, we did not have to wake up so damn early in the morning, and have somewhere to be. 

"We can go down and eat now, my mum or dad shouldn't be home so don't worry." I nodded easily getting out of the previous straddling position I had been in. Luke got up with a groan and I laughed seeing the pout expression on his face. He slowly walked out of his room and down the hall, walking into the kitchen. I followed after him excited to finally eat something, I mean it is-I checked the clock on the wall- 11:37 am, and I have not eaten since lunch yesterday. Luke snaps his fingers in front of my face and I slowly come out of my trance.

"Sorry what?" He laughs and reaches into the fridge. 

"Do you like eggs and bacon? Or we have cereal?" 

"Eggs and bacon is fine." I walked over to the bar stool and sat, watching as Luke starts making the food. My mind drifts to how I just met this boy 4 days ago, and we already have feelings for him. The way he kisses me softly yet passionate at the same time makes my stomach flip. He turns around to find me staring at him and I blush and awkwardly look at the floor. He giggles and I look up and smile. He has two plates in his hand and hands me one filled with eggs and 3 pieces of bacon. my stomach growls at the sight and he sits next to me. I grab my fork and start shoveling food into my mouth, surprised at how good it was and sigh. I haven't had eggs since I was a kid, you can thank my alcoholic dad for that. I always have to leave before he wakes up if I don't want to arrive at school with a black eye. Not that anyone would care, I mean maybe Luke but maybe not. I feel Luke staring at me and I look up to meet his eyes. He looks away, and looking embarrassed by being caught. Once I finished my food, I stood up and brought my plate to the sink. I felt Luke walk up behind me and set his plate in the sink also, and then rested his head on my shoulder. I smiled at the action and turned around to meet sparkling blue eyes. He put his arms around my waist and smiled. 

"What would you like to do today Ash?" The thought of spending the whole day with Luke made my stomach flip. 

"Uh, how about a movie?" He nodded.
