I looked down at the misted bottom, not sure where it ends. The bridge terrified me,I think it would' have that effect on any normal human being with a stable mental health history. Thin ,old, rusted wires were connected across the path holding the form of the bride, supporting poorly placed, thin sticks. There's wooden planks places horizontal on the fragile sticks, the most being three placed next to each other, most probably loose. I took in what felt like the deepest breath my lungs could inhale and willed myself to stand up properly and courageously. My feet moved slowly as if pounds of heavy weights were tied at my ankles. I stood almost less then a inch away from the first alignment of planks,my cowardly attitude taking control.
All I could think of now was I could get use to living here, spent the rest of my days here staring at this unsafe deadly bridge.
I shook all my thoughts from my skull and took the first step.
The plank crushed under my weight and a few splintering wooden chunks broke off ,falling to the unknown space below.
The next step I took was a bit harder, considering it was a well distance from the first step.
My hands grip onto the wire, the small fibers cutting my hands. I felt a burning sensation claw my body and that's when I snapped that the "mist" wasn't mist. It was steam, hot, boiling, steam forcefully filling the atmosphere.
I yelped out in pain as my hands moved along the wire ,my feet stretching to each placement of wooden planks on the sticks. At one point the sticks moved, moving each alignment, and my feet got stuck between a gap of sticks and planks. A relieving pleasure washed all over me as I fell to the soft, wet grass on a stable surface, past the bridge. A laugh softly escaped my lips as I brushed my sweaty hair strands from the side of my face. I turned around on my stomach, staring at a big playground, carnival like scene.
I'm guessing this is Laughing Jack property.

I used up every muscle in my core, arms and lower body to push myself up from the heavenly place I laid.
My right leg suddenly gave in once I stood up. I cursed underneath my breath ,pulling up the denim jeans. A large line of sores covered my leg from the steam. How'd I not feel this before?. Fear,Adrenaline maybe.
I folded the denim tightly above the mark and starting walking to the entrance.of the abandoned carnival grounds.
The gates were rusted like most of the metal from around here. The Technicolor colors were faded and dulled out. The screeching gate opened with difficulty and I walked in. This time the ground was a mixture of wet grass and mud patches. I stated at the different metal frames standing around. A faded plum and violet colored swing set, slowing going along with the slow breeze. There was a few extreme rides that were in really bad rough shape. A few typical Carnival stands were set up along with torn and tattered curtains and toys.
I passed a wooden stall that had a few broken fortune telling balls and a huge pile of glass scattered around the corner.
That's when it caught my eye,a big grey ferris wheel almost falling apart but that wasn't what made my jaw fall open. A huge monochrome circus tent allot bigger than the ferris wheel stood a bit further away.

Goose bumps replaced my pale skin as I heard pieces of glass crush behind me. I turned around seeing a horid frame. My eyes widened and I clenched down onto my teeth ,my jaw throbbing as I tried to hold back my scream.
"Mam?" The fragile British voice spoke up. A small boy. Maybe just seven or eight years old. He had a mop of dirty blond hair,a ripped formal outfit, barefoot full of blood. His skin was pale, blue and covered in healed and fresh cuts and scars. He was missing his right hand and his eyes were circling dark. Hallow eyes apart from a crimson blood line inside his eye line, coming out his apex.
I only nodded ,not being able to bring forth any known words. "What are you doing here?"he asked again, moving closer not bothered by the glass pieces underneath the skin of his small feet.
"I..Jack said I should find my way out, what's your name?"I asked stepping back.
His small bony shoulders pointed as he pulled them into a shrug. "I dont remember Mam but Jack calls me Benjamin" he answered looking down to his unfinished set of toes. I couldn't help it as my lip muscled curved into a smile. "You can call me Ryan" I told him, making him look up and carve is mouth into a smile. His smile seemed normal,a few crooked teeth and they were stained in black and yellow, but nothing monstrous.
I held out my hand friendly and he stared at it,it seemed. I realized that the hand I held out was in lined with his missing limb. I amusing shook my head and brought up my other hand,he folded his hand into mine and shook it like a young boy normally would, yet not so amateur like.
Our smiles dropped when a echoing of screams and psychotic laughter sounded off. The rides all started to move and everything started to light up with the normal carnival lighting. "They're coming!" His voice screamed pitching into a higher volume. He grabbed a hold of my fingertips and begun dragging me away. We were full on sprinting by now and I don't know from what we were running from, from who for that matter

I looked over my shoulder to see a large group of dead children running towards us. "Oh my go.." I felt Benjamin rip me into another room and it was dark, only a small purple light shining softly.
The whole room was covered in mirrors.
"They can't find you Ryan"Benjamin whispered pulling me through the house of mirrors. The screaming was still very clear but soon started to fade.
I looked behind us to make sure but bumped into Ben's small figure as he came to a full stop.
"Benjamin what's wrong"I asked and although his eyes were completely white,it held all the fear in the world. I slowly looked up from the small boy to see the house surrounded by the dead children.
Ben mumbled something but I couldn't hear well. The children were grunting, groaning and moving closer slowly . he let go of my hand and stood closer.
"I said go Ryan!" He yelled and as soon as I stepped into the house of mirror's doorway still not turning around, the children charged. I can't leave him here! I kicked my leg against one of the children's head and a piece of meat fell from his head. "No please Ryan,I'm dead go!" He yelled once they started clawing at me. Tears fell down my cheeks as I kicked them loose and ran through the house of mirrors once again.

My calves started to burn and my earlier injuries did not help at all as I ran. The rides made me confuse and all of these machines seemed unfamiliar. That's when I saw the red flashing Ferris Wheel slowly move.
The circus tent!.
My legs seemed to move in front of the rest of my body as I ran, trying to remain my balance while running. I'm almost there,I'm almost there I kept repeating to myself now almost limping my way to the tent.
I pushed open the heavy layered closed curtain, running inside.

A thick liquid covered my whole frame as I collided into what seemed a hole. I pulled myself up at the edge and saw that I was stuck in a crimson layer of..blood. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I stared at the large pit. There was pieces of material scattered in the thickness of the blood along with pieces of..of.. Limbs, bones, hair, teeth and just everything humane seemed to be stuck in the pit. I heard the children once again and dove into the blood covering my face with the blood for camouflage.
Hours seemed to past as I tried to gear if the children were gone. I heard a faint voice call my name and looked to where it came from. My reflection in the blood was all I saw and suddenly my expression changed to anger and the familiar yet face of a stranger stared at me. A bone cracking noise emphasizing around the water as the figure moved her neck around before looking me directly in the eyes. I could hear my voice but it sounded as if multiple voices joined in with "my" vocal cords. "Remember yet?".
I was pulled under the blood forcefully, kicking as more and more hands started tying around my limbs, holding me down.
I don't know how long I can hold my breath for anymore. I could see the blood move away from my body and travel up the edge ,as if no blood even touched me,my body was cleansed. I gasped loudly, arching my back as pain stabbed at my skull and I could feel how some of my bones would break from pressure of the pain. My eyes went to the back of my head and my mouth stayed a gaped

And there it was.

I yelled out loud, with uncontrollable tears running down my cheeks,as soon as my screams stop the blood rushed back into place along with the rest of the human parts. My feet started kicking as I jumped up from the blood and pushed myself out at the edge.

I remember everything.
