Am I Dreaming?

We stood there just staring at each other, did he really just say mate? Could it be true am I really his mate? All these questions were circling my head, I really didn't know what to think my head was a mess.

I was deep in my thoughts I didn't realise Logan was walking up to me, I slowly walked backwards until I couldn't anymore. I watched as Logan strode towards me he placed his hands either side of me making sure I had nowhere to go. He just stared at me his piercing eyes still burning yellow meaning his wolf was still in control.

I tried to avoid his eye contact at all costs, I felt really nervous, on edge almost like what was I meant to do. I couldn't move anywhere I was trapped between a tree and Logan. I guarantee that my face is really red from how nervous I am. Clearly sensing my distress Logan grabbed hold of my face and forced me to look at him and before I knew it he placed his lips on mine and my whole body tingled, I found myself wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him even closer to me, deepening the kiss even more. I felt like an addict, I wanted more and more. Logan pulled away first and immediately felt a wave of  sadness due to the loss of contact.

"As much as I want to carry on my sweet little mate, but I'm afraid if I do I won't be able to control myself any further and I don't want you to do anything you aren't ready for." he said

"I guess you're right but it just feels so damn good." I said as I pulled him in again.

He chuckled and kissed me again before slowly pulling away.

"There is one last thing I must do."

"What's that?" I asked

"This." he said as jumped back into his wolf form and howled straight to the moon. He was signalling to the whole world he found his mate.

He transformed back and went behind one of the trees and retrieved a garment bag, which had a suit inside of it.

"You really have suit hidden in the woods?" I questioned

"I have many suits hidden in these woods, I didn't know where I would find my mate and a King always has to be prepared, don't you think?" he said cheekily

"I like that." I said as I smiled

"We should be heading back, I want to show the world my beautiful mate and the world their new Queen." he said as he pecked me on the lips.

We gradually made our way through the woods, savouring our time alone together before we were surrounded by all the craziness. Logan held my hand the whole way back, giving me side glances now and again, probably to make sure I was still there or to make sure this wasn't a dream. A short while later I started to see the palace lights through the trees, meaning we weren't that far now, far from the whole world knowing I am the new Luna Queen. We finally made it out of the woods and almost instantly trumpets signaled our arrival, floods of people rushed out of the palace trying to get the first glimpse of the new Luna Queen. I began to feel nerves slowly creeping back up. Logan gently squeezed my hand as reassurance, letting me know he was here with me.

We got closer and closer, I could start to make out people's faces now. We reached the crowd and all I did was smile, everyone's eyes were on me. Some people smiled, some people looked sad, others looked angry but I really couldn't careless I was with my mate and nothing could ruin this moment for me. Logan and I headed into the hall with everyone trailing behind us, we headed up the stairs to the podium. Logan grabbed the microphone and looked at me on more time before he spoke.

"Hello everyone.I did it, I found my mate and I couldn't be more happier. Some of you may know her and others may not. as you can see I've found my mate, some of you may know her, some or you may not. Regardless she is my mate and I know she will truly be a wonderful Luna Queen to you all.  I am going to be handing over the mic to her, so she can introduce herself." he said proudly.
