Are Things Are Looking Brighter?

A week had passed since everything had happened, Taylor was still recovering from the fight, Logan had finally given me some breathing space and my house was finally back to how it was, finally! I bet your wondering why I am worried about my house when there are other things too worry about, well I put a lot of time and effort into this house and I haven't been here long and it has already been destroyed, so you can't blame a girl for being happy that her house it back to normal.

I woke up the next day feeling a lot better, I looked at the time and it was 1.30pm, I had been asleep for ages, but I had to admit that sleep was definitely well needed but now what was well needed was some food, I went into the kitchen and decided I was going to make a bacon sandwich, as I went to gather the ingredients I realised I had no bread or bacon, the two most important ingredients and I didn't have either of them.

I guess I'm gonna have to go the store ugh.

I had a quick shower and threw on some clothes put on my coat  and headed out the door. As I turned around I noticed a figure looming behind me.

"Jesus Logan, don't do that"

"What did I do? He questioned

"Are you really asking me what you did Logan? You don't make a girl jump like that especially a heavily pregnant one, God knows what will happen." I replied

He laughed

I rolled my eyes and headed to my car.

"Where are you going?" He asked

"To the supermarket , I need to get a few things." I replied

"What you buying?" he asked

"Logan what else would I be buying from the supermarket? I questioned him

"Oh yeah, sorry I didn't realise what you said." he said looking troubled.

"Logan are you alright? You seem a little preoccupied, is something on your mind?"

"Its that it's been a few days, after what happened to Taylor, after what I did too him, and I can't bring myself to see him and apologise. I know I'm Alpha King and I have to be strong and brave and face things head on but I really hurt him Sky, I almost killed him and I can't face him after that. "he explained

"Logan, he'll understand. You and Taylor have been friends for a very long time and he knows why you did what you did."

"Sky we both know its the not the first time I've hurt him, I slept with his mate for crying out loud and now I've put him in hospital, how am I meant to face him again?" he cried

"Logan we both know what happened, its very hard to forget what happened, I sometimes find it very hard to see past it especially when I look at you, but that doesn't change the fact how I feel about you and I'm pretty sure it's not going to change anything between you and Taylor, you and him have a very long history and it's probably not the first time you've had a fight, he'll recover and he'll see past it but you do need to visit him and see if he's okay and try and mend some bridges with him."

"You're right, I can't hide away from him forever. But would you mind coming with me? Just for support." he asked looking hopeful.

I thought about it before I answered.

"Sure Logan, I'll go with you but on one conditon, we get food first." I smiled.

"Deal." he said as he smiled back

I gave Logan my keys and got in the car.

Our first destination: Get Food.

We got in the car and headed to a nearby cafe, and let me tell you I ordered a lot of food, don't judge me okay, I'm a pregnant.
