Confronting the Family

It had been around a day since I found out about Jake rejecting Jasmine and I was still beyond pissed with him, how could my own brother do such a heartless thing? Especially to Jasmine, she was perfect for him better than any of the sluts he's dated in the past. I still remember the says he would go on and on about finding his soulmate. Every chance Jake got he would talk about his mate and how he was going to treat her like a Queen. So I don't understand were this sudden change of heart has come from.

The only person I feel sorry for in all of this is Jasmine. She deserves so much better than him in my eyes, brother or not he is a waste of space. He is honestly vile, he makes my blood boil. I can't wait to get my hands on him. I was so in my head and angry about this situation that I hadn't noticed that Kaiden had come into my room.

"Skylar. Are you okay?" He said

"No I'm not."

"Why? Have you and Logan had a fight again?"

"No, this has nothing to do with Logan and I." I replied

"Then what's happened?"

"It's our stupid, dickhead of a brother." I yelled

"What's Jake done now?"

"He rejected Jasmine."

"What! Why would he do something like that?"

"Well apparently she is no good to be his Luna and that anyone one would make a better Luna than her." 

"That is disgusting. I know he's done a lot of stupid things in the past but this is by far the worst. He's such a fucking hypocrite he's always use to talk about finding his mate and wouldn't give a shit what she looked like but this is what he does."

"I know, ever since he became Alpha he's been nothing but a fucking pain in the ass, using his power to get what ever he wants. He actually disgusts me. How can he expect to lead a pack without his rightful Luna? Kaiden he's only acting this way being because he can't handle the power. Our parents can't see it, but can we both know he can't handle it because he wasn't born to be an Alpha, you was and it's about time to take back your title whether he likes it or not."

"Skylar you know I can't do that, our parents don't approve of my life or that my mate is a man that's just the way it is."

"No that's not how it's going to be you're their son Kaiden and no matter what they can't change that."

"So how do you plan on confronting our family?"

"You and I are going to go to our parents house and sort this out once and for all."

"Skylar I don't think..."

"No buts Kaiden we are doing this, so get moving."

"Alright Skylar."

After that I went downstairs and waited for Kaiden, I prayed he would hurry up because I didn't want to bump into Logan.

"Skylar?"

Too late

"Hey babe." I said nervously

"What you doing out here? Are you going somewhere?"

'Ermm... no. I'm just thought I'd stand here, take in the beautiful décor of the Palace. Truly magnificent."

"Skylar stop lying to me. Where are you going?" He said angrily

"Fine. Kaiden and I are going to our parents house."

"Why?" He questioned

"To confront them and my brother."

"Why? What have they done now?"

"They owe Kaiden his rightful title and my stupid fucking brother rejected Jasmine and I won't have it Logan."

"I knew your brother was a dick but not that much of a dick." He laughed

"Logan I'm not finding this very funny."

"Look babe I get you want to help your brother and your best friend but you need to take care of yourself you're pregnant with our child and all this stress isn't good for the baby."

"I know but this is something I have to do. My brother and Jasmine mean a lot to me and I'll do anything to make sure they are happy, even if it mean risking my own health."

"I may not be happy with your choice but if it is something you have to do I support you."

"Thank you Logan." I said as I kissed him.

"You know you're going to make at great Luna Queen."

I just smiled at him, he leaned in for at quick kiss when...

"Skylar you read... oh did I just ruin a moment?."

"Yes, yes you did." Logan said clearly annoyed

"Erm sorry...I'll just wait in the car carry on."

Me and Logan just looked at each other and laughed

"Okay then I'll see you later babe."

"Okay then don't be too long." Logan said

"Don't worry I won't." I said as I was heading towards the door

"Oh and Skylar?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"I love you too Logan."

With that I left the palace to my parents house.

A much longer chapter today, I will be doing a part two,to this because I have written way much than expected which I hope you enjoyed.
