Twins, we were expecting twins. It has been a massive surprise, a good surprise. Another person to love and adore. The fact that there is not only one but two precious lives growing inside me that I have to protect and care for. I'd have to admit I am shitting myself about having twins, but I know once the babies are here all that fear will wash away, well that's what I've heard.
The only thing with this news is that we need tell our families again. Oh and the rest of the world again. We have tried to come up with ways of telling our families and everybody else, like there is no way we were holding another party as that was too stressful, but we wanted it to still be special and surprising.
I went to go find Logan to try and find out what ideas he has about how to tell our families.
I walked into his office not bothering to knock.
"Hey babe."
"Hey Princess, forgot to knock did we?" Logan asked
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't think I needed to knock." I replied as I sat on his lap and kissed him.
"Well if I get a greeting like that every time you definitely don't need to knock. He said with a smile
"Deal" I replied
Logan kissed me again and it began to get really heated but I knew we had to stop before things got carried away as this is not what I came in here for.
"As much as I would love to carry this on, I have something to ask you." I said as I got of his lap.
"Go ahead princess." He said
"So you know how I'm pregnant with two babies now and not just one?."
"Yes my love." he said as he rubbed my belly.
"And how everyone knows about our little boy and not our other bundle of joy."
"Yes."
"Well my question is, how are we going to tell everyone about the other baby?" I asked
"Good question babe, but I'm not sure, we could just gather our families around and tell them." He replied
"That's a good idea but it's boring, I want to make a bit more exciting than that."
"So you're basically saying the idea is boring." He said
"Logan it's not boring exactly I just want it to be exciting, we could use the idea but enhance it a bit more, you know?"
"I get what you mean babe don't stress but how can we make the idea better."
We sat in silence, thinking about ways to tell our families. Then the idea came to me.
"Logan I have it." I shouted
"What is it babe?" He questioned.
"We can gather our families at the palace and give each family a gift bag and in the gift bag there will be a framed ultrasound picture of the twins."
"That's a great idea babe, when should we do it."
"Well we could go to the hospital today and get the ultrasound pictures and then get everything ready for tomorrow."
