Chapter 11

(Alva's POV)

I went to school without a word. I acted casual when Josh picked me up, and remained casual. Tobi's lips lingered on mine as I lick them to keep them warm.

"Hey Alva." I get stopped 6th period. Kevin. "Are you feeling better babe?"

"Can I talk to you? When class is over?" I mumble, not loud enough for anyone, especially the teacher, to hear.

"Yeah sure." He smiles. My smile fades as he looks back to the board. Boy Better Know whats coming to him.

Class was so long. I watched the clock as it ticked by. The teacher finally let us go at the bell, and I take my time to pack my bag. What do I say? How do I approach him? What will he say?

"Hey." He says. I turn around and give a smile. "You wanted to talk?"

"Yeah one second." I say as I put my last book in slowly. I sigh quietly and turn back to him, and we walk out together. We walk a bit and he stops.

"So what's wrong? You've been off." He says. I sigh.

"I'm sorry, Kevin. I truly am..." I say. Just say it. "But we should break up."

He stays silent. "Someone else, isn't it?"

"Not going to answer." I say. I knew that Eva was coming out. He did not want to mess with Eva.

"Why not?" He asks, annoyed. I grit my teeth.

"Because I fucking said so. Goodbye, Kevin." I say and walk off. He tries to grab me but I jerk away and storm off. He grunts and goes the other way. I try to calm myself down but couldn't as I reach the car. I hop in as Josh looks at me.

"Hey what's wrong?" He asks. I cross my arms as his eyes widen. "Eva?"

"For a bit, yeah." I say. He nods. "Please don't ask why. I won't ever answer."

"Okay okay calm down." He whispers. "It's okay, I won't ask."

"Good." I huff as we drive off.

(Kevin's POV)

She was cheating on me. That's what was going on.

I decide to call Katie. She wasn't with Harry, so that was good. She picks up on the second ring with a hello. I smile. "Hey Katie. What's up?"

"Not much. You?" She asks. I sigh as I lick my lips and smirk. She wasn't going to tell me? I would have Katie tell me.

"Alva cheated on me." I spit out. I hear silence. "She broke up with me after class..."

"I am so sorry." She whispers. "Did she say why or who?"

"No." I mumble, trying to sound sad. I mean I understood our relationship wouldn't last. She was an amateur, but cheating on me and humiliating me? Not going to happen. "She just left me and got all pissed when I asked why."

"That doesn't sound like her..." Katie mumbles. "Is that all that happened?"

"Other than her not talking to me for a few days, yes. Did she not tell you?" I ask as I pace around my room. I hear my mom call me to eat.

"No..." She mumbles. "I'll ask her, okay?"

"Okay. Thank you so much." I say and sniffle. She mhms and hangs up. I smile and put my phone down as I go downstairs.

(Josh's POV)

She takes the pill without another word. We argued about it, and I knew it was Eva arguing, but damn she was persistent. Freya smiles at me as I help her make dinner. She wanted us all to eat healthier than pizza and Nando's. "How's Eva?"
