Chapter 4:

2 years later

Emery's POV-

We were out for our morning run, me and the twins. they are two years old, both with my midnight black hair but with Ryan's green eyes. besides Ryan's eyes they both look just like me which was a mega plus. the twins are growing fast and are really smart. they both talk well and know basic training, they were able to shift really early not only because they are full blood alphas but because both of my parents were alphas and because Ryan's dad was and alpha, so they have a little more in them. Addison Marie is an all white pup with black ears and paws, while Hunter Aiden is an all black pup with white ears and paws.

They were running on either side of me when i caught the sent of some rogues and something else.

''Hunter, Addison follow behind mommy slowly and when i stop i want you two to go hide. ok?'' i ask them

''yes mommy'' they said at the same time. i get to a clearing and see rogues surrounding a wolf that is on the ground leaning against a tree, trying to find a way out.

''hide now'' i tell them through mind-link. i watch as they took off and hide behind a big tree. i slowly approched the rogues and pounced on the on closes to me and ripped out its neck. that had distracted them for just enough time for the girl to shift into a pure white wolf and help me fight them off.

Taylor's POV-

My pack was attacked by hunters and my parents were killed a few weeks ago. i've been trying to find a place to go since im all on my own. a twig snapping made me quickly turn around. there stood five rogues. i quickly turned around and ran as fast as i could but i tripped and fell. i crawled over to a tree and leaned against it, trying to figure out a way to shift with all them surrounding me. i looked up and saw an all black wolf with piercing blue eyes, sneak up and kill one of the rogues. that distracted them enough that i could shift and help her take down the rest of the rogues.when they were all dead we shifted back and she went behind a tree and came back with a bag she pulled out a pair of sweat pants and some shorts and a tshirt and a tank top. she handed me the shorts and tank top and i put them on . when i finished she was already dressed and lwas looking around like she was trying to find something.

Just when i was going to ask her what she was looking for, two small pups come from behind a tree and run over to her. they shift back and she puts clothes on them. they look about two or three and look just like her. they both stand behind her hugging each of her legs.

''thank you for saving me, i greatly appreciate it. my name is Taylor Harris by the way.'' i tell her holding out my hand. she shakes i and tells me no problem

Emery's POV-

''my name is Emery Smith, and these are my kids Hunter and Addison, there two. how old are you and what were you doing out here alone?'' i questioned her. she looked really sad like she'drather not talk about it.

''im 16 years old and my family and pack were kille by hunters a few weeks back'' she said

''im 16 to. do you have a mate or boyfriend you can go to?'' i asked not wanting to leave her here alone.she took a deep breath and let it out slowly like she was thinking.

''my mate rejected me when she found out we were both girls. she said she could never be with a girl that it was just wrong'' she said with pain in her voice. i looked at this beautiful girlin front of me with blond flowy hair and amazing grey eyes, and ask my self why would anyone want to reject someone so beautiful as her.

''ah, i get it. its not my place to judge you'' i tell her smiling at her, she returns the smile and looks down.

''well it looks like your jut going to have to stay with us then'' i tell her still smiling. Addy and Hunter smile and start juming up and down and screaming 'YAY'

''i dont know... what would your pack think of me and i dont want to intrude on you guys...''

''nonsence, you would never be intruding and as for the pack we dont have one. its just us thee, well now four'' i tell her nudging her shoulder while we start to walk back to the apartment, the kids runnung ahead of us.

''fine but only because your kids are just way to damn cute to resist.'' we both laugh and continue walking the rest of the way.
