Chapter 10

Chapter 10:

Taylors POV-

Its been a couple of weeks since we arrived and things were going good until we got word that rogues are planning to attack soon. That's what brings us to right now, in Ryan's office. Awkward right.... Its just me, Emery, Tommy, Logan, Jessica and Ryan. Ryan just keeps glaring at me while Emery glares at him and everybody else just looks uncomfortable.

"ok were here to discuss rogues so stop the glaring, some of us want to get back to their mates." Tommy says.

"you watch who your talking to, i'm your alpha" Ryan says using is alpha voice.

"yeah but you don't have to be. You see since my pack is higher ranking than yours, he has the right to join my pack seeing as his mate is my third. And I can bet you ass that she would never join your pack. So he has the choice by the time we leave to go back home, so its you thats better watch how he's talking to him if I were you" Emery tells him. Ryan was about to answer when I cut him off.

"I think Tommy's right, were here to talk about the rogues. So what's the plan?"

After Ryan throw me another glare we began discussing where our safe house should be, who's positioned where and who guards the safe house just in case. when we were finished we all got up to leave, me and Emery go to walk out the for when I see Ryan try to touch her. I front of him, blocking him from her.

"leave her alone, she's mine now. You could have had her but you lost her and now she's mine. She feels a spark when I touch her not you. Her heart skips a beat when I tell her I love her not when you do. Her wolf purrs when I kiss her not you. And she moans my name when were in bed not yours." I tell him. By this time he's shaking. I take a glance over my shoulder and saw Emery blushing. Damn she's so cute. While I was distracted Ryan had tackled me and threw me to the ground. Before he could punch me I flipped him over so that I was on top and punched him in the jaw.

"if were going to fight were going to do it right. Backyard in 20." I tell him and got up. I grabbed Emery's hand and dragged her to our room.

"you don't have to do this, you shouldn't be doing this because of me" Emery says as I got into some shorts and I tanktop.

"baby its fine, maybe now he can learn to stop messing with us" I tell her, tying my hair into a messy ponytail.

"ok but if you get hurt i'm kicking his ass" she says standing up and kissing me.

"i don't doubt it babe" I say back, kissing her. I take her hand and we walk downstairs, out to the backyard. Everybody was out ready to watch the fight. I go to the middle and Ryan is already waiting. Everybody circles around us, leaving enough room for us to fight.

"ok, rules are you fight until one either summits or simply cant stand without falling over" Emery tells us. "and....... GO!"

Ryan automatically lunges at me. His first mistake and super predictable. I just sidestep him and let him fly past me. He lunges again but I grab him by his neck and slam him to the ground.

"always let your opponent make the first move and never ever fight off anger because then everything you learned goes right down the drain like with Ryan here" Emery tells the crowd. This seems to only make Ryan angrier. He kicks me off him and starts throwing punches. He hits me once in the mouth, splitting my lip. I kick his legs from under him and jumped him, my fist hitting him everywhere. I get off him and shift into my white wolf, my clothes ripping off me.

"yeah go mama! you can beat him!" I can hear the twins and Ashton cheering.

Ryan gets up and shifts into his brown wolf and we circle each other. He lunges at me and bites my right paw. I whimper and clamp my teeth into his shoulder, tearing a chunk off. He howls out in pain and stumbles back some. I decide to make this go faster so I run at him before he could get a chance to understand whats happening. I tackle him down and grab his neck between my teeth squeezing just enough to keep him in place but not to bleed. He tries get from under me but can't, so he turns his head to the side and nods meaning he submits. I limp over to Emery, still in wolf form, and she scratches my head while the kids hug me.

"Taylor wins, meaning you stay away from my family. That is me, Taylor, the twins, and Ashton." Emery tells him. He just growls and takes off to the infirmary.

"baby wait for me" Brittany chases after him tripping over her heels.

My family and I go up to our room and I go to the closet to shift and change into some clothes. I go back to the room and sit on the bed next to the kids. Emery comes over and kneels next to me, taking my foot to clean and wrap it. I can tell she's mad I got hurt so I cup her cheeks and kiss her.

"i know your mad I got hurt but look at it this way; I got Ryan to back off for the time being and you get to carry and hold me until my foot heals" I wink at her. "I love you" I tell her .

She laughs "I love you baby" and kisses me.

We decide to call it a night and climb all the way in bed and the kids cuddle up to us after I put a movie on. We fall asleep as soon as the movie goes off.
