Christmas!!!!!

(Sesshomaru's pov) 

I woke up next to my mate and looked into her chocolate brown eyes. Her ears were flattened as she slept peacefully. Kagome slowly opened her eyes and looked at me, "Good morning sweetie." Kagome said then yawned and stretched. "Morning." I said back. Kagome looked at the calendar on the wall behind her and looked back at me, "Christmas is coming around soon." 

I looked at her and the kids know what Christmas means.... "MOMMY, DADDY! Christmas is almost HERE!!!!" Storm and Rina yelled running in. I sighed and laid back down pulling the sheets over my head. "Daddy! Get up!" Rina said jumping on me. I sighed again but got up quickly and attacked Rina tickling her. She was laughing out load. I laughed with her then stopped. "Daddy, can I brush your hair?" I looked at Rina, "Will it calm you down?" She nodded her head and grabbed a brush and sat behind me and started brushing my hair out.

Kagome got up and looked at us, "Seems how Mom gave me food and all for here, would you like some pancakes and bacon with eggs?" She asked. I nodded and so did Rina.

(Kagome's pov) 

I started my way to the kitchen and pulled out the foods I need and started cooking and when it was almost finished, Sesshomaru came in with his hair in a braid, "I'm surprised you let Rina do that to your hair." I giggled. He rolled his eyes, "I couldn't say now and these braids are tight, I don't know how you girls can have it this tight." He said putting his braid on his shoulder. "It looks cute," I smiled and placed the food on all the plates for all of us. He chuckled and called for the kids for me. We all sat at the table and ate our breakfast. "This taste good Mommy, What is it?" Storm asked. "This long strips on your plate is called bacon and you know what eggs are. And the round, flat stuff is called Pancakes." I explained.

"Oh we had these at Grammy's!" Rina smiled and I nodded. We finished our meal and I told them to do something, "So do you remember what to do before Christmas?" They smiled and nodded, "We write our Christmas lists!" They all said in unison. I giggled and Sesshomaru smiled. The kids ran over to get some paper and started writing what they wanted.

We let them continue writing and we cleaned after all of our messes, "What do we do when we finish?" Raven asked. "Place it on the table so Santa can see it when Christmas comes around he can see what you want." I smiled. The kids ran to the table in the living room and put the papers in an neat stack. They ran outside and played around. 

I sighed and looked at Sesshomaru, "We need a vacation. After Christmas, we need just time to ourselves." Sesshomaru nodded, "Indeed we do." He said. I looked at Sesshomaru and then looked at the list the kids put on the table, "Look, Rina wants a puppy. Should we?" I looked at my mate and he shrugged, "I think it would be nice to have one. Plus, it can't be that bad." I smiled and nodded looking over what the kids wanted. Looking at the lists I couldn't help but feel excited to do this for them. I felt my tail wag side to side repeatedly. Sesshomaru started to laugh a little seeing my excitement.  

~later on into the night~

"Go to sleep so then Santa can drop off your presents." I said kissing their foreheads. The got comfortable and fell asleep and we had Inuyasha watch the kids after they fell asleep. "Don't worry. They'll be fine." Inuyasha said reassuring me. Before we left, Sesshomaru threatened him if any of the kids are missing or hurt, he'd kill him.

We went off into the other time and went to a store I knew that had most of what the kids wanted. After we finished with on store, we went to another on. Luckily, my mother let me barrow a truck. I'm not sure when and how she got it but it helped... A LOT.

Next place we went to was a Pet Store. We knew Rina and Rin wanted a dog for a while now. Since it was late, most of the puppies and kittens were sleeping. We walked passed a dog that looked so cute. At least in my opinion. It was a black and brown German Shepherd. "Aww look he's soo cute!" I whispered out loud. The puppy noticed us and ran towards Sesshomaru.

I smiled and the puppy was now licking Sesshomaru's face. "We'll take this one." I smiled to the man, "Are you sure? He can be overprotective if you have kids."

"That's fine." We smiled at the man. He nodded and we did paper work and we were out.

~Heading back home~

We got the gifts wrapped and put under the tree. The puppy was put in our room so that he wouldn't bark or whine. Inuyasha left and we fell asleep.

~A few hours later~ (Sesshomaru's pov)

In what felt like five minutes, we were woken up from the kids and the puppy was under the sheets where it wasn't really noticeable, "Okay go out there and we will be out in a sec." Kagome said and the kids ran out to the tree. We left and before we got out there puppy got out to where the were. We heard the girls scream happily. Kagome smiled at me and we finally got out there to get a huge hug for Rina and Rin, "Thanks Mom, Thanks Daddy." We smiled and the girls ran back over to the tree and we sat there watching the kids unwrap their presents. "Yay! I got a bike! I don't even know how to ride on." the kids giggled and continued.

I pulled out a little and handed it over to my mate. Kagome looked at me and she opened it. I saw her put on a smile and take out a necklace and I put it on her. It was a purple heart with a bow behind it, "It's beautiful Sesshomaru." She said with her beautiful brown eyes. I leaned in and kissed her, "EWWWWW!!!!!" The kids yelled. Didn't bother me.
