Our Little Demons (Book 2)

We will be okay... I promise

(Kagome's pov)

"Ow." I placed my hand had on my now pounding head. What happened? I looked outside to see there was no sun out at the moment. Beside me, I heard soft breaths. What happened? I looked down making to see my a few bandages on my wrist, around my back and my ankle. What happened! I heard movement hoping I did wake Sesshomaru. "Are you okay?" I looked in his worried eyes. I nodded my head still wonder what happened, "Um, Sesshomaru, w-what happened?" He looked at and shook his head, "A lot. You really should get some sleep." I looked down. Sesshomaru lifted my head and looked into my brown eyes, "Would you like to come outside with me?" Looking into his golden eyes, I nodded.

~Outside~

Sitting outside with Sesshomaru was nice. We sat on the ground and I sat in his lap leaning my back on his chest in a comfortable silence. A shooting star flew over us, "Quick! Make a wish!" I said quickly closing my eyes." After I made my wish, I could feel his smiling. "What did you wish for my dear?" I giggled and shook my head, "I can't tell you." He rolled his eyes jokingly and smiled. I laid back comfortably and laid my head on his shoulder. We sat there not say anything but enjoying each others company. I wasn't too worried about what happened. My ears twitched and I turned around to see Raven behind us. Lately, he has been closer to us, "Hey sweetie, What wrong?" I asked. Raven shook his head, "It's nothing. I was just wondering where you went to."

Sesshomaru and I looked at Raven and I opened my arms, wanting him to sit with us. He sat between my legs and he laid back and I started brush hair with my fingers. "Mom? Will we be safe from the demons that still roam around this world?" I looked at the back of his head and smiled, "We will be okay... I promise." I smiled and went back to playing with his hair. Sesshomaru laid his head on my shoulder. "Mom, I wanted to know something," Raven started, "What were you and Dad like when you were younger? Well I mean before you had us?" I smiled and I could feel Sesshomaru smiling as well. "Well... We weren't really lovey dovey then. I was not even by your father's side when we fought the demons. I was on Uncle Inuyasha's side. I was a pristess and daddy was the one who stayed avay from the 'people'." Raven looked at us, "What do you mean?"

"He wasn't much of a people person." I explained. He lifted his head saying he understood. Raven leaned back again. "Dad can we walk for a little?" Sesshomaru looked at me the Raven then nodded. "Kagome we will be back in a little." I nodded and everyone got up and I watched my husband and son walk in away. I walked inside to my room and went to bed trying to get some sleep since my headache stopped while we were outside.

(Sesshomaru's pov)

My son and I walked into the woods and after we got a little farther Raven stopped, "Dad, yesterday you told me to go home, but I couldn't push myself to do that. I stayed just in case so nothing would happen to you two." Raven said with his head down. "I know. I sensed you." I said. I knew he saw everything I didn't want him to see. "I saw when you were fighting. I know that you guys wouldn't do that, even if you wanted to." I looked at him and looked away. " Dad when you were fight Mom, I over heard Goshinki speaking to himself. He said he was going to try to use Mom you kill us and he might keep Mom as a weapon or something." I looked at Raven and noticed he was getting pissed. I felt his demon wake in little bits, "Raven, promise me you will help me kill Goshinki. You and I are the only full demons in this family." Raven nodded and I smiled a little not knowing what the future is holding for us.

It was dark but Raven wanted to go and hunt for once. "Well since you're old enough,I guess I can train you." Raven got a little excited and we went deeper into the woods to practice.

Raven seemed to get the hang of it after I started showing him how it went. In the middle of his practice, a demon appeared in front of Raven and I. "Lord Sesshomaru? Lord Sesshomaru! Its you!" Great! it was Jaken. "Lord Sesshomaru?Dad, what is talking about?" I turned around and started walking away and Raven caught up to me. "Lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken called again. I took a breathe and turned around and Jaken bowed in front of me. "What do you want?" I asked annoyed, "Well I was walking around and I saw you with this boy. W-who is that boy anyway?" I looked at the almost creeped out Raven. "Jaken, this is my son Raven, Raven meet the annoying Jaken." Jaken seemed a little offended but I didn't care. I never gave two fucks about him. He stood there with his mouth open with his staff looking like an idiot. Raven and I walked away to go home, "Close your mouth before you chock on a fly." I said, "I wo- *cough cough*" I rolled my eyes and we made it home without Jaken on our tails.

The sun was rising and we walked inside. I went my room and Raven went to his. I sat on my bed and looked at Kagome who seemed comfortable sleeping. I laid down next to my lover, wrapping my arms around her waist.

~Next day~

In about a week, it will be Thanksgiving. I thought to myself as I started waking up. Kagome was still sleeping when I opened my eyes. With my arms still around my lover I pulled her closer to my body and we shared each others body heat. A few seconds passed and I heard giggling from in front of me. "Good morning gorgeous." I looked at Kagome as she started turning to face me. With a smile on both our faces, we laid there with our noses touching. I moved to kiss her and she kissed me back with the same love I have for her. After we pulled away, we saw the kids at the door, "Ewwww, Daddy kissed Momma." Rina and Storm said in unison and Raven laughed. Its been a while since we saw him laugh. We all ended up laughing hysterically. Yes including me.

Raven, Rina, Storm and Rin sat on our bed, "Dad, can we all go out for a little, Like, all of us?" I smiled and looked at Kagome, "Yeah Daddy, can we?" Rina asked with her puppy eyes. Kagome smiled and nodded. "Okay, lets get dressed first." The kids nodded and ran to there rooms and got dressed and so did we.

~tiny tiny time skip~

We walked out the house and started walking in the safer parts of the woods and I lead the way, "Daddy were are we going?" Rin asked, "You'll see, we are almost there." After another five minutes we made it to where I wanted to get to. Everyone's eyes looked on the beautiful land in front of us. The sun was at the right angle where it reflected off the river. The grass a green/brown color. The only thing I liked out of this were the colored leaves on the ground and trees. "Look at all the pretty colors Mommy."Storm said pointing at all the leaves on the ground. Kagome smiled and I smiled looking at her. "Catch me if you can!" Raven said running away from us. Rina and Storm started chasing him and we stayed until it was lunch. We went in and had a family lunch.

Kagome was cooking and while she was, she walked to the living area and I took over cooking.

(Kagome's pov)

I walked out of the kitchen to the living area to check up on Ama. When I walked in, I saw him sitting up with the kids there watching and talking to him, "Are you okay Ama?" Raven asked with some concern in his eyes. He nodded his head placing his hand on his head. "I had a weird dream, like I was hanging out with you and then I blacked out." I walked in and sat with the kids. "Lets hope it only stays a dream." He nodded his head and I told the kids not to tell him what happened without actually saying it.

I know this was like the worst way to end a chapter but I was running out of time in class so I hope it all worked out. Thanks for baring with me guys. You all are awesome!!
