I was so happy Kali was done with her mean phase. I just hoped she didn't make up some story, then come back as even meaner Kali. I wondered what she was going to do. I mean, she had to get some friends.

Ring ring, ring ring.

It was Mae calling me.

"Hello" I answered boringly

"I need to tell you something Macy." Mae started.

"Ok, sure. You know you can tell me whatever" I replied as though wondering why she didn't just start.

"Well, my mom wants us to finish the school year at a different school. I told her about all this drama, now she wants us to go somewhere else. She even told you mom." Mae said a bit scared of what reaction I might come up with.

"What? This is not true. To me, it sounds like your moving. But me to? I guess if we move together it wouldn't be to bad" I said trying to be positive.

"Well, we would live close but there's a problem. We would be going to different schools" Mae blurted relived to have got it out.

"No. It's not true Mae, you can't believe a little gossip like that." I answered sternly.

"I know it's true Macy. Because my mom is packing. Macy, so is yours" Mae convinced.

"No! My mom is not packing Mae. Re think your evaluation." I said over angry as I hung up.

I stomped down stairs.

"Mom, Mae is out of her mind! She says we are moving because of drama and going to different school." I said mad and laughing.

A serious look came across my moms face. I realized she was standing by a box. Her hand was in it. I looked at her and around the empty area.

"Mom, what are you doing!" I started taking the things out of the box and placing them back neatly." I was upset.

"Mae is not crazy. We are moving Macy." my mom confessed.

"But we are going to the same school right?" I asked plainly as if we a duh question.

My mom looked away and began placing the things right back in the box.

"Mom!" I yelled with a tear.

"Sweetie. Maybe it's better Mae and you spend some time away from each other. It seems to be causing a lot of drama and you both need other friends" My mom said very quietly.

"I have other friends lime Gina mom. Mae is not the reason for the drama. It was Kali." I confessed.

"My mom looked up. One friend is not enough." My mom said.

I walked up stairs and grabbed my phone. It rang like magic.

"Hey Mae" I said before even checking who it was.

"We have to make a plan" she said.

"I know we do. I think we both know" I replied.

"Pack your bag, meet me outside by the big oak at midnight. From there we walk to the closest hotel. The Hampton in. I have some savings- but bring some to" Mae said.

"Okay. How long do we stay? I know we can't afford more than a night or two." I whispered.

"One night. Then we take a cab to my vacation house- in Florida. Just think of it as a vacation. I have the keys so it will be ok. I don't know how we will get food but we will manage." she said.

"Ok. See you at midnight. I feel so horrible running away" I said.

Then my mom came in. I hung up the phone quicker than she could see.

"Running away? What are you doing Mae" My mom asked.

"Oh! My book I was reading online this girl had fighting parents and she was running away" I lied perfectly.

"Ok. Well I am going to bed now" she smiled kissing my head.

That scared me to death. (Then they shocked me and brought me back to life- from guy on Americas got talent who shot the jelly donut with a bow and arrow)
