His words kept popping up in my head. Family.......? What happened fifteen years ago. Would It have to do with my father and mother?
The elevator reached the third floor and I got off. I counted the doors as I passed by. One particular door stood out, it had two colors on it..... half white and half black.
I walked to the last door which was Silver, and opened it with my key.
My room was huge it had a kitchen, living room, and four doors, one a closet, another the bathroom and two furnished rooms. I collapsed on the couch in the living room catching my breath. So much has happened today...... family.... the mafia family, I was a part of it? no I don't want to be.I drifted off to sleep....
Knock knock
I fell off the couch as I awoke by the knock on the door. I rubbed my eyes and opened it.
"GOOD AFTERNOON!!!", a cheerful girl probably fourteen or thirteen shoved a cookie in my mouth.
I was startled.
"Sooooo how's it going?!?! Oh I made these cookies I don't know which you like so I made walnut, chocolate chips, oatmeal, sugar, and more, wait then again you might not like cookie s maybe I need to make brownies! Then you might not like brownies! Ugh!", the girl talked at a quick pace and rambled on.
I watched her talk and slowly ate the cookie thats as forced into my mouth.
"Oh yea my names Yellow, nice to meet ya Silver!"
"....silver?", I asked confused
"Well that's your name right? That's your doors color and as you know our names are colors. Also, we have our doors that matched the color! Like me, I'm Yellow I already told you and my door is right in front of black and whites door"
"Yellow slow down , Silver can't keep up"
A guy with light brown hair and hazel eyes appeared next to Yellow. Didn't even notice him at first.
"Oh alright", she pouted
He smiled and turned his attention to me, "Hey names brown, my place is right in front of you"
"Hi....", I smiled
Yellow handed me the cookies and before she could start talking again, brown interrupted.
"Well we will let you settle in , come on Yellow lets go "
Yellow nodded in agreement and they left. I closed the door and putting down the cookies on the kitchen counter.
I stared at the couch hoping to nap again but I wasn't sleepy anymore. My stomach growled reminding me that I haven't eaten. I headed toward the tiny modern looking kitchen and saw Red standing over the empty cookies plate on the counter.
Red smirked, "couldn't help myself"
I stared at him, "how did you get in?"
He stuffed another cookie in his mouth and pointed to an opened window.
"you cookie thief..."
I walked over to the window and closed it shut.
Red came behind me and blew behind my neck making me jump.
"Want to have some fun?", he winked at me
I tilted my head in confusion, "what kind of fun?"
Red devilishly smiled.
