Why?

Chapter 1 - Detention

"Lee Soyeon, do you want to go out with me?", your best friend Kim Seokjin asked.
You laughed. "Really? You want to go to a party? I know how you dance Jin."
And it's true. Your friend's talent in dancing is nothing better than the traffic dance the whole town knows him for.
You scoffed him and he started laughing with you.
"Okay Soyeon, but then I have to ask some other girl!", he joked.
"I think the lucky one will be pleased to go out with you!", you immediately started to joke with him.
The two of you teased each other for a while until the bell interrupted you.
"Going home together later?", you asked.
"See you at the gate!", he answered.
And that's the reason why he's your best friend since you can think, you can count on him, even when you stand in front of his door in the middle of the night.
You had to run to your class and as you arrived everyone stared at you and Miss Kang only said one word,"Detention!"
You went to your seat with your head down while blushing.
Any other day English was your favorite subject but today you hate your teacher because it was the first time in your life you had to go to detention.
You didn't pay any attention to the class until someone knocked on the door.
"Come in", Miss Kang said and a very handsome boy entered.
"Hello, I'm the transfer student Jeon Jungkook.", the boy said calmly.
All the girls in the room couldn't look anywhere else but to him. Except for you.
You never were interested in boys like him because they would only cause trouble.
"Nice to see you Jungkook. You can sit next to Soyeon.", the teacher said.
"What? Why next to me?"
Then you remembered next to you was the only empty seat.
He went to the chair and after he sat down he immediately said,"Why are you turning away? Afraid of boys, huh?" He started laughing and the whole class did so because they heard everything.
Aish, who does he think he is?, you thought.
He doesn't even know you!
And starting that moment you knew it wouldn't be easy for you in school anymore.

You stood in front of the detention room and suddenly remembered you didn't tell Jin that you got to stay at school.
You felt bad for him because you knew he would even wait until tomorrow if you wouldn't come.
You searched your bag to look for your phone to write him a message, but it seems you had left it at home.
"What's wrong with you these days, Lee Soyeon?", you murmured.
"Everything, if you start talking to yourself.", a voice behind you said.
It was definetely a boy but you couldn't recognize the voice so it could only be the transfer student.
Since he made fun of you again you were really sure about that.
You turned around and there he was, Jeon Jungkook.
"Don't say you have detention too?", you asked slightly annoyed.
You would do anything rather than sitting in the detention room for one hour with Jeon Jungkook!
"Why else would I be here? But you blocked the way", he said angrily but with a smirk.
You hated him! How can someone be so full of himself?
"Sorry, but you could have said something!", you said coldly.
"I said something and even touched your shoulder. Twice!"
Your face turned comepletely red. Half because of embarressment, half because you got really angry at him.
You tilted your head and stepped aside so he could go in.
He passed you with a little amused chuckle as if he had fun embarassing you.
You entered the room right after him, took the chair that was the furthest away and started doing homework.
After a few minutes of doing your homework you got bored and looked at Jungkook what made you realize he was staring at you.
"You really do homework during detention? What a nerd!", he said in an annoying manner.
You immediately looked to your worksheet again.
"At least I don't have to talk to you then.", you said.
"But you're talking right now.", he said with a amused voice.
"You asked something and I'm kind enough to answer."
"Oh and that's all?", he pouted. "What do you want?", you said angrily.
He started to get on your nerves.
"Nothing, just do your homework, little nerd!"

"Jin, I'm so sorry! I got detention.", you shouted as you approached him.
"I know. The whole school talked about you having detention with the new student.
The girls only talk about him. I could literally feel the jealousy in the air!", he said with a little smile on his face.
"You didn't have to wait, baboya!"
"It's okay, Soyeon. So I had the time to find out something about Jeon Jungkook."
This made you very curious.
"What is it?"
