chapter 27

Zoey's POV: I woke up the next morning to, everyone standing around my bed. "That said you can go home now" Ema said smiling and she had a wheel chair next to her. "What time is it" I asked. "9:05 so we are going straight to school but we already have your medicine which you have to take every two hours so you need to take it down to the nurse first" Ema's mom said and they helped me into the wheel chair. "Can I just wear pajamas to school" I asked and Ema held up my batman shorts and and a batman T-shirt. "Way ahead of you" she said smiling. She was wearing pajamas too. I looked at Tyler and Luke and realized they were too. "Well let's get this over with" I said and Ema started pushing me out of the room. We checked out of the hospital and drove to the school after we got to the school Ema's mom left and we went to the nurses office and gave him my medicine and we all got passes from the secretary so the strict teacher knew where we were.

Tyler walked into the room first and then Luke and then Ema pushed me into the classroom and I could feel everyone staring at us. We walked up to the teacher and gave him our passes and since he knew what had all happened he let us all sit together at the back of the classroom. Everyone watched as we went to the back of the classroom. "Mr.Morris" I said but he wouldn't pay attention. I stood up and tried to walk but I fell to the ground and screamed due to a sharp pain in my back. Mr.Morris ran over to where I was and Tyler Luke and Ema went to help me up. And all the students had gasped. "I'm fine" I said and got up myself and sat back down and shed a tear even though everyone was watching. The teacher started talking about family budgets and that part got to me. "Zoey what is and average amount parents spend on groceries" the teacher asked me. He quickly covered his mouth realizing what he just did.

"I'm not sure why don't you ask someone who has a family" i said and everyone gasped because of what I had said. Then his phone rang and he picked it up. "You four office now" Mr.Morris said pointing at us. Tyler Luke and Ema got up and Ema pushed me out the door and we went to the office. "I was supposed to tell you that the trial for your kidnapper is now in two weeks because they wanted you to be out of your wheel chair for it" the principal said and I was glad because it was coming up and I didn't feel like dealing with it.

1 week later

I got out of my wheel chair. Yesterday I was so relieved they let me out of that thing. I could run jump and walk just fine. Yes my back still hurt a little bit but not much at all. And of course the past week of school was the worst thing ever because everyone was talking about what happened to us. I tried to ignore it but I couldn't it was to hard to ignore something like this. I didn't have to go to the court for another week but that week was coming by so fun and I was miserable. I just want all of this to end. I don't mean I want to kill myself I just don't want to face all of these problems why can't I be a normal person. I was I chosen for all of this to happen to me. We were all at mine and Ema's house and yes now also Tyler's pretty much and we were hanging out. "We should celebrate that you got out of that wheel chair" Tyler said and I laughed. "Ok what should we do" I asked laughing. "Park" Ema suggested. We all love the park we literally go there every day I don't know what we are going to do when it comes to winter time. "Let's go" I said and grabbed my phone. We walked out the door and it was extremely hot out so I walked right back in. "I need to change first" I said and walked up to mine and Ema's room.

I had been wearing jeans and a long sleeve shirt and I have no idea what I was thinking when I put that on. "Ema help" I screamed and she ran up to the room. "What should I wear" I said and she laughed as she started going through my clothes. "Let's see your batman shorts and batman crop top with black vans and I will wear my hello kitty shorts and hello kitty crop top and vans" she said and handed me the outfit. "Thanks" I said and grabbed the clothes out of her hands. We put our outfits on and ran down stairs. When we got down we both pulled our hair back in to messy buns. "We're almost twinzies" I said and we both laughed. The guys grabbed our hands and we walked out to the side walk and began the five minute walk. "So what are we all going to do" I asked them while we were still walking. "Not sure guess we'll find out" Tyler said and we all stayed quiet for a little bit. We got to the park and I let go of Tyler's hand and ran around the park in circles. "What are you doing" Ema screamed so I could hear her.

"I've missed this" I screamed back and I started spinning and jumping while still running at full speed. I would have really missed this if I would have gotten paralyzed. I had missed my legs so much for just one week. "Come on" I screamed and they all laughed and ran up to me. "Chill out do you want to swing" Tyler asked and I ran over to the swings instantly. "Well that was a yes" Ema said as she ran and sat in the swing beside me. I swung as high as I could and then I stopped pushing my legs back and forth so I would get a little slower and a little lower. Once I knew it was low enough I jumped off and just barely landed on my feet. "That was fun I'm going to do it again" I said and I got back on the swing I was on before. "You better chill before you break your legs" Ema said and I laughed. "I missed all of this" I said smiling and just sat on the swing. "I bet you did" Ema said and she stopped her swing so she could sit beside me. The next thing I knew I felt a tear fall down my face. "What's wrong" Ema instantly asked me. "Nothing I'm just so happy" I said smiling. "You guys have made my life do much better" I said and I got up and hugged everyone of them and I kissed Tyler on the lips. "I love you" I said as I pulled away. "I love all of you, you have all been helping me so much through all of this thank you" I said and we did a big group hug.

As we pulled out of the group hug I started running to the monkey bars. But as I did I was hit in the head really hard. All I could think was oh no not again but then everything went black.

I woke up in a basement with Tyler and Luke tied to chairs beside each other. I went to get up but I was chained to the wall so was Ema and she was sitting right beside me. They were all awake and they all looked scared. I was scared too of course but I have been through this before I can find out how to get out of it again. "Guys everything is going to be fine I'll think of something I have gotten out twice I can to it again" I said and I looked at my chains. "I love you all don't worry about anything if you get pulled away from each other act brave and don't run" I said and they all nodded their heads. I heard someone coming down to where we were and I made a hand gesture for everyone to be quiet. When the person entered the basement they had a black mask on so we couldn't see their face. They walked up to where Tyler and Luke was with what looked like a whip. My eyes got wide as soon as I saw the whip. The person turned around and my eyes almost popped out of my head and my jaw dropped out when they took off the mask I can't believe it its.........
