Kidnapped

chapter 26

Ema's POV: The ambulance left and an officer offered to take us to the hospital. We got into the police car and he speed off. I texted my mom everything that had happened and she said she would meet us at the hospital. We waited and waited for what seemed like hours before the doctors finally said she was stable enough for visitors. We all ran in and saw Zoey laying in the bed looking like she was in so much pain. I sat right beside her and started crying. "Its ok I'm ok they got the bullet out" Zoey said and it looked like she was forcing a smile. I could tell she was in so much pain and then I saw a tear slip down her face but she quickly wiped it away. "I had a dream" she said so quietly it was pretty much a whisper. "What was it" I asked her so maybe it would get our minds off of things. "Alex he came back and....and..." She said as she burst into tears. "Its ok you don't have to say" I said and carefully hugged her so I wouldn't hurt her back.

"Zoey I love you" Tyler said as he kissed her forehead. "I love you too" she said as she wiped away tears. The doctor walked in with his clip board to make him look smarter. "Ok so we would like Zoey to stay here for two more nights and she will be in a wheel chair for at least two weeks maybe one week at the least" the doctor said and Zoey just laid there she didn't make any expression with her face just a blank stare.

Zoeys POV: the doctor walked in but I paid no attention. I couldn't help but think about Tyler. His parents were both in jail he was almost like me except his parents were still alive. He probably had nowhere to go. The doctor walked out and I decided to talk. "Tyler where are you going to live" I asked him looking into to his eyes with a concerned look. "I...I dont know" he said and instantly me and Ema both looked at her mom. And her face lit up because she knew what we wanted. "Tyler you can live in the guest room if you would like" she said and he smiled. "Thank you so much" he said and got up and hugged her. All of us are going to be staying here with you Zoey" Ema said and I smiled. "Thank you" I replied. I didn't want to be alone I wanted someone with me everywhere I went no matter what. "You kids have to go to school as soon as Zoey gets out of the hospital though she gets out first thing Tuesday morning and today is Sunday" she said even though we knew what today was. "Great so know people can talk behind our backs about us and keep asking what happened" I said rolling my eyes.

"Look Zoey I'm really sorry but you have to go to school no matter what" Ema's mom said and I just sat up. "K" I said and crossed my arms like a little kid would when they don't get their way. I handed Ema's mom the remote for the TV because she wanted to watch the news. She got to it and it said something about Tyler's parents and she immediately turned the TV off. "I'm going to order some food how about kewpee" Ema's mom said getting up and grabbing her purse. "Ok" we all said. We told her what we wanted and she stopped right before she walked out the door. "I need at least one of you to come with me to hold the food" she said and she was looking Ema straight in the eyes. "Fine" she said and got up and Luke went with them too. "Tyler I'm really scared and I have been causing so much trouble lately, two guys that kidnapped me went to jail, Ema's dad went to jail because of me, and your parents went to jail for me making up that dare" I said and started crying.

"Zoey its not your fault they all chose to do what they did and you put it to a stop its ok" Tyler said and hugged me and the Doctor came in to check on me. "Where's everyone" he asked confused. "They went to get some food" I answered and he came over to me. He checked my back and made sure I was breathing properly and checked my blood pressure. "You're doing really good you may be able to go home tomorrow morning instead" he said smiling as he walked out the door. "I dont want to go to school" I said and another year fell down my cheek. "Its ok me, you, Ema, and Luke all have the same classes we can stick together, and we need to make sure we don't get separated" he said and he kissed me on the cheek. I started crying really badly remembering what had all happened to me in the past five months. "Let's watch TV" I said wiping away some tears and turned on the TV. It was still on the news channel and it showed Tyler's house it said that a young girl Zoey was shot and three kids were beaten there Ema, Zkey and Tyler and the people have been taken to jail. "No no no no everyone is going to talk about this I said and Tyler sat down on the bed beside me. I cried into his chest and he held me there and whispered things into my ear.

"Everything will be ok I promise" he whispered and I just hung on to him. I didn't want to lose him like I did everything else almost.
