My pups ears and eyes where starting open. They where always greedy for more of my milk to feed them. They where starting to whine and waddle a little in acts of walking. Slowly they could walk for short distances before tired and in want of milk.
They where starting to allow me to get up and stretch my legs before they would whine for milk. There teeth would soon come out and come in for meat. My mate has been stocking up for when we get them off of the milk they will ravenously eat it up.
I got up and walked out to the awning of the cave. Sitting down I breathed in the fresh air of the outdoors. I heard scraping of my pups paws as they slowly but surely fallowed me to where I am.
"Moma, what's that? What are those?" I barked a laugh at my little ones pure unknowingness.
"This is an outside world. The one you shall grow up in. We are in a packs establishment. The pack is our family your father is the Alpha leading us. One of my beautiful boys in this litter should be Alpha when you grow older or the next litter if you are not proven worthy. Those are wolves like us in our pack they shall protect you with there life. You are more worthy of any of the other pups cause your an Alpha bloodline. Only you can proceed unless your father is defeated. We run the pack we are the continue of the pack without us it would be chaos."
I paused, "The pack goes in rank with no Females there would no males or pups. Without males there would be no pups at all. Without fighters wolves would constantly die. Without the Beta the Alpha couldn't go off to take stress breaks or relaxing time with his family for the pack could be attacked and destroyed when gone. Lastly no Alpha no pack he runs it all the time keeping each of us safe." I hit my nose to there's when I said each of us safe.
They all giggled and circled around going back to the cave. Stumbling to the nest to sleep.
"Your a wonderful mom and teacher." My mate came up behind me and nuzzled me. " I never got your name and I believe I deserve it since you bared my pups." He said nuzzling my side.
"It's Amerine." I said, "What's yours?" I asked.
"Erick." He said "A strong name for an Alpha for my parents knew by my size I would be the one. Have you though on what to call our pups?" He asked.
"I want the pack to name them, to make them special from all my soon to be litters. I want each litter to be special in there own way, and this is the way I want this litter to be special by."
"It shall be done my sweet Amerine." He said, "We will do it in the upcoming sunrises out, my pups will need to build up there endurance before a climb commences to where there brains will think overtime in though of wonders there eyes, ears, and nose sees, smells,
and hears."
"That will be wonderful, we shall keep it a secret in till then to out little pups are ready."
