Star was in her room, singing as usual, when Marco walked in with a pink envelope in his hands. He had a big grin on his face.{Marco's POV}
"Cause baby it's coooold ouuutsideeeee!" Star sang. I walked into her room smiling with the envelope in my hands. "Oh, hey Marco! What's up?" she asked me, motioning to the envelope in my hands. "Nothing much. Unless, you count the fact that we're invited to Jackie's Christmas Party tonight!" I hopped up and down. "I love parties!" Star ran into her wardrobe. I followed her. "It's not for two hours, Star, we have time." I say. "Correction. I have time. You, on the other hand, need to get ready. Jackie's been your crush since preschool. You have to dress-to-impress." She rummaged through a big pile of clothes. "Besides, it takes need a LONG time to do my hair." I chuckled. Then she pulled out a tux and handed it to me. "It's too formal," I said. She pulled out a costume of a Christmas Tree. "Too halloween-ish." She found a red sweater with a tree in the middle. "This could work." I walked out of the room and changed into the sweater.
{Star's POV}
Marco walked into my room once he got the sweater on. "How do I look?" he asked. "She's gonna love it." I walked into her wardrobe. "Stay out, I'm changing," I said as she shut the door. Five minutes later, I walked out. I had on a Christmas tree headband, a red sweater with a green star, black leggings, and sparkle flats. "Let's go, Marco! You don't wanna be late do you?" I grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the room. "Bye, mom!" he said. "Don't stay out too late, okay?" Mrs Diaz asked, "Your father and I are going to run some errands whale your gone." Then we ran out of the house.
