{Star's POV}

I lay there on the cold floor. "Weird morning, huh?" I murmured. My brain then thought it would be a good time for social questions. "You like Marco, don't you? Why hasn't he asked you out yet? He must not feel well if he hasn't. He misses his parents doesn't he? Why'd he leave you on the floor? Why won't you go talk to him?" I smacked the side of my head. I really hate when my mind talks about stuff like that. And besides, I don't want to screw up like I did with Tom. I sighed and walked out of the room and into the kitchen to get breakfast. Marco was on the couch watching TV, unaware of my presence. I ate as I attempted to look at the screen. "Ugh," I groaned, "It's too far away." I put my empty cereal bowl in the sink and walked behind Marco. "Marco I'm bored, " I murmured. No answer. "Marco? You there?" I nudged his shoulder. "Marco. Marco. Marco. Marco." Still no answer. "Diaz!" Nothing. I poked his cheek with my fingers. "Earth to Marco." I had to resist the urge to slap him. "Safe Kid." He glared at me. "You know I'm not the safe kid," he muttered. It's about time I got his attention. "Marco I'm bored." His eyes widened as if he forgot something. "Star, what day is it?" he asked. "December 24, why?" He jumped up. "Crap it's Christmas eve! I completely forgot!" I looked at him confused. "Right, forgot your from Mewni. Christmas is when you put up a tree, decorate it, and on December 25 presents 'magically' appear under the tree." I jumped. "Sounds fun!"
"We have to go buy presents for people."
"Then come on, Marco, were going to quest buy!" I cut a portal and dragged him inside.
