        Luke's POV:

"God, I can't remember the last time I just sat and enjoyed watching the stars." Skylar said as we laid in the grass.

   We all nodded in agreement.

"Look! There's the Big Dipper!" Said Emery as she point to the location of the famous constellation.

In the corner of my eye I saw Skylar smile. I smiled soon after.

What can I say, her smile is kind of contagious.

"Quick, what's your favorite moment about right now?" Ashton asked.

"The feeling of being able to relax and enjoy cool breeze of the night, yet the slight warmth of the moon shining on my face." Said Blair. I smiled slightly and closed my eyes as a cool breeze came.

"The feeling of not having to worry about anything. The feeling of freedom from the world." Said Emery.

"Being able to enjoy this moment with long-term friends and really cool new ones." Calum said as he looked over to Emery and smiled.

"Well I've enjoyed every living moment of this night, but this was by far my favorite part of tonight." Michael said and we all hummed in agreement.

"Not having to hear those annoying car horns and bright headlights shining in my face. Not having to breath in the awful fumes of others exhaust, and finally get some fresh air. I've always loved that." Skylar said.

"What do you mean?" Ashton asked.

"Like the little closed off parts of Earth where there are no paved roads, no buildings, no cars, no man made light source, no anything. Just fresh air and trees, tweeting birds and just peace. I've always loved that. The only downsides are the pests." She said and we all laughed at her ending comment.

"What about you Luke?" Skylar said.

"Huh?" I asked a bit dazed.

"What's your favorite part of this moment right now?" Skylar asked me.

"Well honestly, I agree with everyone about what they said. But if you asked me if this was my favorite part of tonight I'd say no." I say bluntly.

"Well, what exactly is your favorite part of tonight then Lucas, if I may ask?" Skylar asked smiling at me.

I smiled looking at the moon and didn't even hesitate before I looked at her, and whispered to her "Meeting you."

She smiled widely and looked back to the sky and she gently laid her hand on my wrist, squeezed it lightly and slowly moved her thumb in soft, slow circles. Her touch felt like a slight shock of energy to burst through my veins all the way to my heart causing it to race. Her hand was so cold on my wrist, but my arm felt like it was on fire, because of her. I felt strangely good, but as quick as the good feeling came, it quickly past because she had removed her hand from me.

What was that? And why do I miss it so much already?

           ~A few hours later~

We were backstage once again and it's about midnight now. Ashton was greeted by his girlfriend and he waved a quick goodbye to us before he went off with her to the snack room.

As for the rest of us, we invited the girls to our tour bus which they gladly accepted. As we stepped inside the bus, Michael ran to his bed and plopped into it. Blair just laughed and sat on the couch. I saw the look on Michael's face when he saw how she didn't follow him, but what does he expect? After all we all only met just hours ago. Yet even though that may be true, I feel like we already all know each other like we've been friends forever.
