Loving a Heartbroken Girl

Chapter one:

  
   The crowd was screaming as we took our seats. It was five minutes till my favorite band 5 Seconds of Summer came onto stage. Me and my three friends, Emery, Blair, Alice, and my boyfriend had been waiting for months for this concert and we were so excited for this because we had the best seats, right in front row. Deuce kissed me quick then we sat down and waited.

  ~ Five Minutes later ~

   The second they stepped onto the stage the crowd went ballistic including us. They started off with Emery's favorite song "Everything I didn't say". When Calum's solo came on, he walked straight over to her, looked her in the eyes and kissed her hand gently before he went back to the center stage. The girls around her were so jealous and all I could do was laugh. They continued singing their songs and having as much fun as we were.

   The concert was about 2 hours into the amazing concert and they were singing their first hit "She Looks so Perfect" and when I looked over to find Deuce I see him full on making out with Alice. Rage flowing through my veins I dumped my drink all over him as well as Alice, but I didn't care since she clearly didn't care about our friendship.

"We're done!" I yelled at him and then I turned and stormed out crying.

Luke's POV:

   I was happy as can be while I sang my solo "She Looks so Perfect" when I saw a girl dump her drink onto some guy and girl, then stormed out crying. I couldn't help but feel something pinch my heart for a second. But I kept singing until I finished my solo before I dropped my guitar and ran after the girl. The security guards yelled at me asking me where I was going.

"I'll be right back just call for a break or something!" I yelled back at them.

   They yelled something to me, but I didn't hear. I opened the back door to an alleyway to find the girl crouched to the ground crying. It truly hurt to see her that way, I've never seen a fan so upset that they ran out of the building before.

"Hey." I said softly to her.

"Huh?" She stifled a cry to turn and face me and wiped her tear-stained face.

"You alright?" I asked as I crouched to her level.

"Y-yeah, I-I'm fine. Wait, oh my god, you're Luke, like Luke off of 5 Seconds of Summer Luke! Oh god this is so embarrassing." She said while wiping her face again and combing her hair behind her ear. She was an extremely beautiful girl, with intense dark emerald green eyes. I couldn't take my eyes off of her.

"No, no don't be embarrassed, you're fine." I said as I put my hand softly on her upper arm.

"What are you doing here?! You're suppose to be singing right now!" She said while gently shaking me. I could only laugh.

"I don't care about that right now, I want you to explain to me why you ran out crying...please." I asked her without trying to sound rude.

   She sighed and then explained everything that had happened. And when she was finished she had gotten all of her tears out and I was sad for her, yet pissed at him. I just wanted to hold her in my arms and comfort her.

"Well, now that that disaster is over with, shouldn't you be heading back now, it's already been like 45 minutes of us talking." She asked softly.

"Yeah, WE should be heading back in now." I told her as I stood up.

"What do you mean? I can't go back in there, I've already left the building they won't let me back in." She said to me confused.

"If you're with me and sit backstage they will. I can promise you that." I said as I held out my hand to her to help her off the ground. She took it and as I helped her up, she spoke to me.

"Okay then what about my friends? They'll be looking for me." She asked.

"I'll take care of that. Don't worry." I said to her.

   Then I walked back into the building with her by my side. Once I saw the guards I spoke to them.

"Can you guys do me a quick favor?" I asked.

"Be quick about it, the fans are getting a bit antsy." Jim, one of the guards said.

"Alright, see those four people over there?" I pointed to her friends.

"Yeah." They said in sync.

"Bring them here." I said.

   They quickly did as I asked then they asked,

"Alright what now?" They asked looking to me.

   I looked to the girl latching onto my arm, looked to the two girls that she had described to me earlier, Emery and Blair I believe and said,

"Take these two girls backstage."  I said to Jim. He nodded and walked them backstage.

"What about these two?" The other guard, Tyson asked me.

"Get them out of here." I said simply. Tyson nodded his head and started roughly pushing the two out of the building.

"You know, you didn't have to do that." She said.

"Well, I wanted to." I told her. I heard her laugh lowly and it made me smile, then I started walking her backstage.

"You know, I never did get your name. May I now?" I asked smiling down at her.

   She looked up to me, smiled then looked back ahead and said,

"Skylar. My name is Skylar."

"Beautiful name. And how old are you?" I asked.

"16. Why?" She asked me.

Not bad.

"Oh, no reason." I said smiling at her.

   We had reached our destination and I walked her over to her friends before she had finally released her hold on my arm and ran to embrace her friends.

   I walked back onto the stage with a big smile on my face. I apologized to the crowd and gave the boys a count down before we began our concert again. And for the rest of the time whenever I thought of her I began smiling like a love struck idiot. The boys kept giving me awkward stares, but I didn't care. I was just thinking  and hoping that tonight wouldn't be my only night with her, because I would want to see her again.

Because I like her.
