I stepped into his car and sat down, right next to the driver's seat. And he started the engine.
As I slurped up my noodles, I fought hard to suppress my laughter.
'And then he goes,"Oo, your sister is smokin! Obviously the good looks genes missed you." And he winks at her and Gerrad went crazy angry!' He chortled.
He was telling me about some halarious drama that happened in the gym the other day.
We laughed and ate and soon I forgot that I had even been upset.
I was happy around him. He made me smile.
Suddenly we heard a few rounds of gunshots.
I ignored it but Jonathan seemed really uneasy.
I thought it was just a few people who shoot crows, to keep the population in check.
'Those guns ain't made for crows. I can tell. I've shot crows.'
I was eager on staying on. I really wanted to stay here. With him.
Wait, what? I should hate him! He made me cry. Why would I even... What...?
But then he said,'It's late. Why don't we head back?'
There was a forceful glare in his eyes, telling me I should not rebel against him.
I groaned,' Fine...'
'Get your stuff, I'll meet you at the car.'
I picked up my purse and my phone.
I realised it had a few notifications.
I checked my phone:
>Theresa (7) Missed Call/s

I prayed she'd understand.
I ran to his car and flung the door open, dashing inside.
'Woah, you okay?' He gasped.
'Yeah. Step on it! Theresa's upset.'
'I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to my car. You hurt her.'
I rolled my eyes and prodded him to get going.
The engine roared and off we went.
Half way back, I got a text.

He shrugged and turned his focus back onto the wheel.
