We immediately headed out the base while Ciel gave orders to other resistance soldiers.
Ciel:Guard the entrance and prepare to fight with all your might!
Soldiers:Yes ma'am!
Zero:Ciel,the kids and I will fight outside.
Ciel:Ok please be careful and good luck!
Zero:Ok.Let's go you three.
Kathy,Denise,and I:Right!
We went outside and saw a huge army of mavericks.
Kathy:Damn how many are there?
Me:Doesn't matter how much there are! Let's just take them out! Use your biometals to your advantage and don't hold back.
Kathy and Denise:Right!
Zero:Alright men, listen up! This is something we've never dealt with. We'll take the front lines. If any mavericks get past us whatsoever, you shoot them down with no mercy. Is your objective clear?
Soldiers:Yes sir!
Zero:Ok move out!
We moved into the front lines with Zero,armed and ready to battle.
Model Z:Cristian, to your right is the Z-saber.It's located on your waist. Your buster is on your left.
Me:Ok,thanks.
Model X:Kathy,I have already activated your buster.You can also charge it as well.
Kathy:Ok.Thank you Model X.
Model L:Hey Denise.Lift your arm to summon my staff k?
Denise:Ok.Thanks Model L.
Zero:Are you three ready?
Me:Let's do it.
We started to fight the mavericks. Some managed to slip by us but the resistance soldiers easily shot them.
~50 minutes later~
Kathy:*pant* *pant* Damn it,there's too many. I...can't keep up anymore.
Denise:*pant* Me...too.*pant*I'm too tired.
Me:Go get some rest then you two. Zero and I can handle it from here.
Kathy:Ok.Good luck sweetie.
Zero:You sure you can keep fighting?
Me:Heh,I could do this all day if I could.
Zero:You got guts and stamina, kid.
Zero and I continued fighting until every last maverick was destroyed.In time,we succeeded.
Me:We did it.Finally.
Zero:Yea.Done and done.But who the hell sent all these mavericks?
???:Hehehehehe,well done Zero.I would've imagined you've gotten stronger since our last encounter.
Zero and I:?
