After about maybe half an hour, we arrived at the abandoned base.

Zero:Alright here's our destination.
Me:Is this place really necessary for a base of operations?
Denise:Lighten up. This is the only clue we have so far so I don't see why you're complaining.
Me:Alright fine. I'll open the door.

So how could I...describe the place? Dusty,rusty,old, desolate, musty, moldy... need I say more? When I opened the door, I would've expected the hinges to just fall off just as the door did.

Me:Ohhh what the fuck!? *cough, cough* Yea, that smells like radiation alright. Holy shit man.
Denise:Holy crap you're right. Ugghhh can we not go in here?
Zero:We have to.
X:We don't have a choice.
Axl:Yea you guys have fun with that. I'm gonna stay out here where it's safe.
Me:All alone? Who knows Axl? Maybe something could come out of nowhere and grab you or even eat you.
Axl:WAIT FOR ME!!
Me:Paybacks a bitch.

As we walked, we saw rotting human bodies and skeletons. We even came across rusted up reploids.

Kathy:You think this place might make a good scary movie set?
X:Maybe but I don't think anyone wants to walk in here.

We soon came across a room. I opened it only to be surrounded by darkness.We figured that we would might as well leave until Zero sensed something.

Zero:EVERYONE STEP AWAY FROM WHERE YOU'RE STANDING!!

What seemed to be an electric ball zipped by us. It could only be an assault.Meaning,we're not alone.

???:Hmmm looks like I missed. Guess I'll have to aim better next time.
X:Who are you!?Show yourself now!
???:You don't have to be so demanding you know. Fine. My name is Luna. I was appointed by Lord Sigma to destroy some pests. But judging by your looks, you all look so weak.
Me:Tch,coming from a maverick who's serving a robot that doesn't even have the balls to face us.So you wanna fight, then let's go.
Luna:Hmph,that's more better. I guess I'll have fun destroying you then.
Axl:Oh yea. It's on like Donkey Kong.
Zero:This will be fun.
X:You can bet on that.

It was definitely on. Fighting Luna wasn't that bad. Most of her attacks are easy to dodge and her pattern is easy to figure. It's her agility that's the problem. She's fast but she'll see that she's not the only one who's fast.

Luna:You guys are starting to bore me to death.I might as well end this. SHOCK WAVE!

Kathy tried to go for a hit with the X buster but had no luck. Denise tried for a go with Model L's staff but no luck as well. Zero, X, and Axl also did an attack but Luna dodged them due to her speed.

Luna:*sigh*So slow. Honestly, just give up. You're no match for me.
Kathy:Damn it.
Denise:We just have to keep attacking.This time,we'll get her.
Luna:*yawn*Are you done? I seriously want to get this over with.

As Luna was distracted,I took the opportunity and sneaked behind her.

Me:Surprise motherfucker.
Luna:Wha-!?

I gave Luna a good slap in the face with Model Z's Z saber.

Luna:How did you-!?
Me:It was easy. While you were distracted, I took the opportunity for a sneak attack.
Luna:That's a dirty attack you cheap bastard.
Me:I've been called worse.

Luna soon started running in a circle. She was starting to toy with us.

Luna:Catch me if you can slowpokes.
Me:Is that what you would call me?
Luna:Eh!?
Me:You're not the only fast one here princess.

A quick punch to the stomach made Luna stop in her tracks and land on the ground.

Luna:How dare you hit a girl? You're no fun.
Me:Does it really matter? Here's the thing, you're a maverick. I'm a hunter. So it's my job to dispose of your kind. So what do you say we end this.

I soon transformed into my super form.

Me:Well what do you know? Even in this dimension, I can still transform.Well,time to end this. SAY YOUR PRAYERS!!!

I lunged at Luna and punched her hard as a hole soon ruptured through her.

Luna:No...impossible.... You may... have defeated...me. But you will never defeat...Lord Sigma....

With that Luna exploded, leaving a weapons chip behind. Her special weapon.

Me:Zero catch.

Zero caught it as I threw it to him.

Zero:Here X. You should have it.
X:Thanks Z.
Axl:What about me!?
Me:Ummmm...sorry Ax. Limit one weapons chip per maverick.
Axl:Not fair.
Sigma:Hehehehe,well done you six. But you still have seven more mavericks to finish off. Hahahhaha, you'll never get to finish me off. And I'll soon have ALL of your heads. Any last words Zero.

A projection screen soon popped up revealing Sigma and his other mavericks, hidden in the shadows.

Me:As a matter of fact Sigma indeed. Look at your mavericks,now back to me, now look back at your mavericks, back to me. I am not one your mavericks. ╭∩╮I'm flipping you off. Look at the ground, now back to me. Where's Luna, she's gone. I KILLED HER. AND THERE'S NOT A GODDAMN THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT YOU BALD HEADED FREAK!
Sigma:Mock me while you can, you little brat. But you're time will soon come to end.

With that, Sigma cut off and we soon left the base in hope of Ciel finding us the locations of the seven remaining mavericks.

~Our heroes have defeated one of the eight mavericks led by Sigma. Now they must deal with the other seven.They return to the resistance in hopes of Ciel finding the locations of the other seven mavericks.Will our heroes be able to accomplish the task at hand?Find out in the next chapter.
