Scorpius's POV

I walked onto Hogwarts Express, unbelievably ready to get away from my family and start my fourth year at Hogwarts. I looked back to see my father standing there. My father gave me a slight nod and a smile and I returned the gesture. Luckily my grandfather didn't come this year. The year before he was the worse.

He went on an entire rant about how Hogwarts was nothing but a school full of mudbloods and traitors. He even made a comment about Rose's mother. When he saw her he called her a filthy mudblood. Let's just say Rose didn't talk to me for 2 months. It took Albus and Roxie to both convince her that it wasn't my fault.

After that my grandfather was never allowed back at the train station. The ministry banned him.

I turned back around and walked towards the last few compartments. I walked all the way to the last compartment. The compartment that held my friends.

I opened the compartment to see Albus, Rose, Liam, Belle, and Roxie all inside. Liam, Belle, and Roxie sat on one side, and Albus and Rose sat on the other. They all looked over at me at the same time.

I was suddenly caught off guard by arms suddenly throwing themselves around my neck and wild ginger red hair in my face. I looked at the others in confusion, for Rose was never one to give hugs. Especially to me.

"She thought you weren't going to come back. I told them about Durmstrang," Liam explained. I nodded, as Rose pulled away. She then punched me in the shoulder.

"Ow! Bloody hell, Weaslette, what was that for?" I rubbed my shoulder giving her a hard look.

"For being you," Rose huffed and sat down beside Albus closer to the window.

Merlin, that girl was bipolar. I rolled my eyes and sat down beside a snickering Albus. I shot him a look and he immediately shut up.

"You were really considering leaving, Scorp?" Roxie asked. The dark skin girl with the fire hair tilted her head to the side questioningly looking almost like a dog.

"Not me. My grandfather. He says Durmstrang would be better suited for a Malfoy. But my mum and dad talked him out of it," I said.

"Durmstrang is the best magic school in the world next to Hogwarts of course. Plus it's far away from Penny Parkinson. Why didn't you go?" Belle asked this time.

"Because I wanted to ask Adrianna Brown out to the 3 Broomsticks. I can't very well do that half way across the world, now can I?" I shot to my god sister. It was a lie. I didn't like Brown and I am almost positive she doesn't like me. I only said that to get the nosy Zabini off my back.

"Adrianna Brown? Really? She's the hottest girl in our year. If you land a date with her you'll be legend," Liam smirked, "Rumor has it she fancies you as well."

"Really? Well then wooing her won't be so hard now will it," I smirked.

Rose stood up quickly and walked towards the compartment door. She shoved me back as she did so and walked out slamming the door shut. I looked at my friends raising an eyebrow.

"What's her problem?"

Liam and Albus both shrugged, causing Roxie and Belle to roll their eyes.

"Boys," Belle said.

"Tell me about it, come on let's go check on her," Roxie stood up and walked out of the compartment Belle right on her heels.
