Albus's POV
I walked back up the hall of the train to my compartment by myself. When Liam and I tried to talk to my dad about the Scorpius and Atticus incident he just sent us away. I knew my dad would listen to Scorpius's story and be fair on his punishment but I had to be sure Flint got a punishment worse than clean up duty. When we were sent away Liam ditched me for Oliver Stunt, a fellow Slytherin.
My thoughts were cut off when I ran straight into someone. Me being the clumsy twit I was tripped over my robe and almost fell backwards until a hand shot out and grabbed my arm.
"Woah," I was pulled to my feet and looked up to meet the almost golden eyes of Lorcan Scamander. My heart dropped into my stomach and I could feel my ears going red from embarrassment.
"Hello, Albus. Sorry I didn't mean to bump you, I didn't see you there," Lorcan flashed a boyish smile. He had one dimple in his right cheek that stood out completely that made his smile stand out even more, which caused butterflies in my stomach.
"It was my bad. I was in my own world," I said smiling slightly.
"Well I suppose we are both at fault then, eh?"
"I suppose so."
I still felt his hand on my arm, I looked down at it then I looked into those deep golden eyes and Lorcan met my gaze. His eyes was slightly more serious but his smile never left his face.
"Albus, I,-"
"Lorcan!"
Our heads shot up and Lorcan and I looked behind him to see Emily Blunt standing behind him, looking rather impatient. Emily was Lorcan's on again off again girlfriend. They started dating our second year and have been on and off ever since. She was also in Slytherin, she was friends with Flint and his cronies, and lived to make me and my friends lives a living hell.
She is pure evil but hides it well from Lorcan.
"Yes, Em?" Lorcan smiled slightly, a flash of what looked like annoyance crossed his face but it went as quick as it came.
"We are getting ready to stop. Come on," Emily said.
"Of course," Lorcan nodded and looked back at me, "I'll see you later, A."
Much to my disappointment and relief he let my arm go. Flashing that smile, Lorcan turned around and walked over to Emily who eagerly pulled him back into their shared compartment.
I sighed and turned around to walk into an empty compartment. I sat down in a seat and ran my hands down the side of my face.
I don't know what this feeling is. But it really made me nervous.
Lorcan's POV
I liked Albus Potter. Like liked liked. I've liked him since first year, but I was always too afraid to tell him about it. The only person who knows of my crush on Albus is my brother, Lysander and my best friend, Ian Finnigan.
Not even my mother knows, at least I don't think she knows. I mean you never know when it comes to my mum. She somehow knows everything, even when you don't tell her.
I sat in the compartment with my brother, my best friend, my ex girlfriend, and her two friends. I wasn't really paying attention to anything Emily said.
