She hides behind a smile, a laugh,
Pretends that everything is okay, or at least it will be
When she is home, she stays alone in her room and cries
A disappointment, a failure she calls herself to her people
They say that nothing is affecting her,
When in reality, all of this affects her the mostHe sees her slowly starting to drift away
He can look past her shield,
He can't comfort her like he wishes,
They are both being watched,
One wrong move and they will both be cast away
