The Fakes

My friends and I come to a gigantic building that is blocking our path and the only way to get on the other side of it is to go through it.

"Guys we're going to have to go through it," I turn and say to everyone.

"Alexis are you crazy that building is falling to pieces and there could be fakes in there," said Terrence, one of the kids we picked up along the way.

"I understand that, but it is dark and we don't have a choice unless you want to stay out here and wait for the fakes to come get us," I said in a serious tone.

No one said anything else and we proceeded into the dark, crumbling building. Every turned on their flashlights and we went through all the twisted hallways and walls. I don't know what caused this building to fall, but it had to be big and we had to move fast before it came down on us. We were almost halfway through the building when Hakim stopped me.

"Alexis do you hear that," he asked with a puzzled look on his face.

I shushed everyone and listened. I turned around and walked to the back of everyone. I didn't need to hear them because I saw them first. Their green eyes and glowing symbols watched us and waited.

"Fakes, run," I shouted as they came after us.

Everyone took off running. Fakes are the weapons the government uses to stop us Supers. They are photocopied SuperTeenz who were made from the DNA of captured Supers who were killed. It's hard to tell the difference from a Super and Fakes sometimes because they can blend in with us, but Fakes have power symbols in their eyes, but they can all hide them so when we find survivors the only way of knowing if they aren't a Fake is by cutting them and seeing if there blood comes out green or not. It sounds weird, but it is what it is.

As we come to the hole in the wall that leads out I hear a scream. I stop and blow the hole in the wall. I hear Hakim scream no, but I can't just abandon the person I heard. That explosion I caused is making the entire building crumble. I run to wear I heard the scream come from and try to dodge the green powers shooting from their hands at me. I turn a corner and lose them. I wait for them to pass and then proceed slowly to where the scream came from. I hear crying and then I see a girl about my age sitting on the ground.

"Hey, we have to go this building is coming down and I think those fakes figured out that I'm not at the end of that hallway," I say taping her.

She looks at me and I grab her hand and pull her off of the ground and start running. I hear the fakes's footsteps and start running faster. Then they start throwing those green blast at us and we try to dodge those and the falling pieces of the building. I see a wall at the end of the hallway we are running in and throw a blast at the end that blows a hole in it. I look back at the fakes and see that a blast that one of them threw is about to hit the girl running behind me. I get behind her and push her out the hole in the wall and jump out myself. I turn around and start punching the side of building making it collapse faster. Then I finished it off with a super punch that sent shock waves through the building making it crumble to the ground.
