The Motorcycles

Trenton took us to a motorcycle store that was just around the corner. There were tons of bikes with the keys in them. Not everyone knew how to ride a motorcycle so we had to partner up. I picked a bike that reminded me of the red one that my dad had bought for me. Natalie rode with Hakim annd all the others rode with each other. Me, Lexi, and Trenton rode our bikes alone. I watched him as he rode his bike and he was pretty good. He did a lot of tricks and drove real fast without losing control. I like that.

"Wanna race," I yelled over the wind.

"You're on," he yelled back.

We picked up speed and the race began. He was fast, but he wasn't fast enough for me or so I thought. The race ended at the pile of rubble that stood in our way. He won fair and square.

"Good race but but you have to do better to beat me," he said smiling.

"I'll beat you next time," I said playfully punching him in the arm.

" I doubt it," he said grabbing my arm and bringing me close to him, then he started tickling me. I was laughing hard and telling him to stop.

"Come on dude," I said as he stopped tickling me and the others pulled up.

Hakim hopped off his bike and came over to me, "Alexis what were you thinking. You were going pretty fast. You could've gotten hurt."

"I race my bike all the time. Stop worrying so much Hakim," I said kissing him on the cheek.

"Come on dude it was a friendly race, she wasn't going to get hurt," Trenton said.

"Fuck off dude," Hakim said walking up to Trenton.

"Guys lets not fight each other, ok," I said getting between them.

Hakim walked away over to Natalie.

"So how are we supposed to get over this," one of the girls in the group said.

"Well first we have to see what's on the other side because it might not be safe," I said.

"Shush, listen," Trenton said.

I listened and I heard voices coming from the other side of that pile of rubble.

"There's people over there or fakes," Lexi said.

"I guess we should make camp back that way and then come up with a plan," I said.

We got on our bikes and drove back ten miles and set up camp in a small store. Hakim pulled me over to the side.

"Lex, I don't like you hanging out with that Trent guy," he said.

"His name's Trenton and we're just friends. You're the one I'm with not him," I said kissing him.

We went back inside and sat down and came up with a plan.

"I think that Alexis, Trenton, and Lexi, should go as fakes and if it's people then they tell them they're not fakes, but if they are fakes we need them to take down the entire fakes base," said Jack a young kid we picked.

"That sounds like a perfect plan. We will carry it out tonight," I said.
