"I'm getting married!" My mom shouted through the door of our small apartment. My eyes widened and my heart started racing. I opened the door and in came a rush of females with my mother in the lead. Her dark hair covered her right eye and her short floral dress raised above her knee as she said on the couch.

"Mom what's going on?" My heart still aching from what I have overheard. My mom getting married was never a topic I thought could happen. She was a stunning figure and has extreme intelligence, but I never pictured her getting back into the game that easily.

" Darling mommies getting married!" She jumped out of the chair and ran towards me. Her arms grasping every inch of my torso. She finally let go and shoved her hand in my face, the beautiful silver ring sat on her ring finger. The sun beams reflecting off of it. Her face showed no sign of doubt or sadness that I was never notified that she went back into the game of dating, since the divorce.

"It's beautiful, when's the wedding?" I spat out in confusion.

"Next month!" She squealed making my ear drums almost bleed to death.

"You mean September next month?"

"No I meant October silly." She hit me and frowned.

"Sarcasm Narla." I whispered into her ear. Since the divorce I never called my mother, mom. The purpose was defeated. The words Mom and Dad signifies that there are two, but in this case it's only one. Narla.
