Chapter 16

~

It took us a good four hours unpacking everything from the van and then packing it into the furniture and unlimited closet space. Everything is not fully done, but when Racheal gets home she wouldn't really care. I just hope she's happy with her changed accommodations. Mainly because she has people that care about her way more than her previous pair of 'parents'.

"This is as good as it's going to get. I'm hungry ASF!" Ray called while we walked towards the kitchen.

"What do you want?"

"More like what do you have?"

"Well I wouldn't know? I'm happy with whatever chef makes me." His eyes bulged and I couldn't help the snicker that crept past my lips.

"You guys have a chef, body guards and personal services, but we still did her room on our own?"

"I never noticed that." I stated, "Either way I don't really use them, since I'm used to doing things on my own. But I'll ask someone to help me with her closet tonight." He nodded and I called chef to make us my regular order. Cheese Burgers ad Fries. Who doesn't.

We waited for a good twenty minutes before chef walked around the corner with our food. To say Ray devoured his food was an understatement. The food was there one second and gone the next. After that we basically went on a tour of Casa de Dwan, which took me a good two hours since Ray wanted to gawk at the cars and the games room. At around 6 I said bye to Ray and got ready to get Racheal.

I walked into my closet and searched for something that looks like I try but I don't at the same time. I decided on light-wash jeans, a black sweatshirt and brown gladiator sandals. I left my hair the same and just added a little bit of mascara.

"CAM! It's time to go." Vince yelled from downstairs.

"Yeah, I know! I'm going to Racheal's room to get her a change of clothes." I said whilst jogging down the hall to grab an outfit that matches mine: light-washed jeans, grey sweatshirt and nude gladiator sandals. I stuffed it into a backpack and ran down the hall and down the stairs.

"Took you long enough."

"And you're an irrelevant guard." I smirked and slid into the backseat of the limo. "Hey 'daddy'."

His attention snapped to me and I smiled. "We're going out to dinner after we pick up Racheal. And damn you." He mumbled the last part.

"Ok, do you know where?"

'How about iHOP?"

"Best decision you made since you married my mother." I smiled and gave him a hug. The ride was really boring, so I glanced out the window and stared at the scenery.

"I know he was hiding in the cupboard." My head snapped to him and he was staring at me with a low smirk on his face. I scrunched up my nose and folded my arms across my chest. "Your mother told me she let him in when she left, also security cameras don't lie."

"You could have said 'I know you're in there'! It would have helped Vince."

"Where's the fun in that? And also did you really fall on that spider, or did Blake miraculously scare you from behind and you fell into the cupboard where the giggles were coming from?"

"Screw you Vince... That's not funny. But my hand still hurts from all the weight that I put onto it." I said while rubbing my injured hand.

Vince burst out into laughter, that lasted for the rest of the drive. While that was happening I was jamming out to TOP. The car came to a halt and I turned off my music. "You know laughing at your daughter's fails isn't nice 'daddy'." I stepped out of the car and put my shades on to protect my eyes from the flash. Somehow, word got around that we were going to be at the hospital at this time to pick up a friend. This is so stupid.

I strutted into the hospital, not glancing at any of the camera's to avoid getting questioned and them surrounding me. I went to the receptionist and asked her about Racheal. She told me where she was, but I waited for Vince and security to come in. When they did, I gave them a questioning look. "You can easily get through that crowd because they are always checking you out, but when it's me. I'm being bombarded with questions because there are no females." I smiled and told them to follow me, but that didn't work because Vince told the men to stand beside me and one behind him.

"She's at the end of this hall." We walked to her door and opened it. "Rach!"

"Cammy!" We gave each other a bone crushing hug. "I missed you guys. And when your mother told me that I'll be living with you guys, I swear I almost fainted."

"Well I don't want you fainting anymore. Oh before I forget, here's your change of clothes." I handed her the bag. She thanked me and left towards the bathroom.

"I'm guessing there's going to be more squealing in the house than usual?" I nodded and they all groaned. Men.

Racheal walked out the bathroom looking hot as ever, even with her hair looking a mess. "Let me do your hair." She nodded and sat at the edge of the bed.

"By the way, nice idea with the matching outfits."

"Something told me that since this is going to be your first time being photographed nameless... we need to do it in style." We laughed. I pulled her hair up into a high ponytail and slicked down her edges with warm water. "And done."

"You still work miracles without having your tools." I blew on my finger and smiled.

"Oh by the way, I brought your shades. You need to put them on as soon as we get into the elevator." She nodded and we headed out. With my best friend wrapped in my arms.
