Important note: you all know that Lucy/Luke is genderfluid, right? You do now, anyway, they have three different "forms": feminine, masculine and both. When they are feminine, they like to be called Lucy and use feminine pronouns (she/her), when masculine, Luke with he/him and when both, Luce with they/them. Just so you know, since it is important (to me, it is). I have changed that in Meeting Everyone. That's all I had to say, enjoy!
I put on my favourite black skinny jeans and a dark blue top with the text "I don't give a fuck". I put on my black combat boots and let my phone slide into them, so I wouldn't need a bag or something.
'Going somewhere?' Angie asked.
'Luce texted me. It has been a while since the last time we went out and I wanted to go.' I replied puting on some makeup.
'Have fun then.' Angie smiled.
'Thanks, sis. And what are going to do this evening?' I turned to look at her.
'Probably read a bit. I have found this book and people said it's really good.'
'What's it called?' I asked.
'You don't really care, do you?' She smirked.
'Just answer the question.'
'The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.' Angie replied and walked to her book shelves. (A/N 10/10 would recommend) They are ours, but I barely use them so they are basically hers. She showed me a book. The cover was familiar to me.
'Let me see the back.' I said reaching for it. She handed it me and I quickly scanned the back.
I gave it back to her. 'Save your innocence and don't read it.' I said.
'Why?'
'Sex scenes, shortly said.'
'Oh.' Angie said blushing a bit.
'You still have your innocence, right?'
'Depends on what kind.' She said softly, looking anywhere but me.
'You have read more of this kind of stories, don't you?' I asked smirking.
'I may have.' She said.
'Nice to know.' I smirked. I felt my phone buzz against my leg. I reached down and looked at the message.
Standing outside, waiting for you.
I'm coming, a minute or two.
I let my phone slide back to its place.
'I need to go. Luce is here.' I said.
'Have fun, you two. Come back safe.' Angie said and gave me a hug. I hugged back. I let go when I felt my phone buzz again and smiled at her.
'See ya.' I said and walked out of our room.
'Bye, mom! Bye, dad!' I shouted, walkimg past the living room.
'Bye!' They shouted back. I opened the door and was met with Luce' familiar face. I smiled at them.
They holded up their wrist. It had two green bracelets on it.
'Look, I got idea from Instagram. Blue means boy, pink means girl and green means both, so you can know what pronouns to use.'
'Nice one. But what if you start to feel like a girl when you wear the blue or green one, or something like that?' I asked.
She pulled out two other sets of bracelets out of her pocket. 'I always have them with me.'
'Smart one.' I said smiled. 'But let's go.'
They nodded and we walked to the cab they came with. We got in and told the driver the adress. Soon we arrived at the disco. (Are you panicking already?) I smiled at the security guard.
'Long time no see, Mitch, how are the kids?' I asked.
'Nice to see you too.' He smiled back. 'They're doing great, thank you.'
He opened the door for us and we walked in.
Music played loudly. I looked around. The crowd was less than I was used to, but I could have fun none the less.
'Hey, isn't that Autumn?' Luce asked pointing at a familiar girl.
'I think she is! I thought she moved away?' I said.
'Should we go to her?' Luce asked.
'I think we should. It was always us three till her dad got that new job in Seattle.' I said. Luce nodded and we made our way to our good friend Autumn Jones. I couldn't believe I didn't see her with her autumn brown hair. Yes, ironic name.
Wgen we reached her, I tapped her shoulder. She turned to us and grinned when she recognised us.
'Raven! Lucy! Nice to see you again!' She said happily.
'Could you please call me Luse instead of Lucy?' Luce immediately asked.
'Uh, sure. If that makes you more comfortable.' Autumn smiled. 'Anyway, how are you guys?'
'Great actually. You remember Nick? We got together!' Luce said excitedly.
'Oh my god, no way! I'm so happy for you guys!' Autumn said. 'And how about you, Raven? Any one who finally caught your eye?' She wiggled her eyebrows, what somehow made me blush.
'N-no. Not really. And you?'
'Nah. Everyone sucked up there. No single girl who got uo to my standards.' Autumn said.
'You're attracted to girls?' I asked surprised. But I didn't feel just surprise. There was also something else. Relieve.
'Yeah, boys too. I'm bisexual.' She replied. She seemed a but nervous all of sudden, like she hoped we accepted her.
'Welcome to the queer club, girl. We already have a panromantic asexual girl and a androsexual genderfluid.' I smiled. Her nervousness disappeared immediately.
'That's nice! I guess I'm not alone.' Autumn smiled.
'You're never alone. But what brings you here, if we may know?' Luce asked.
'My parents sadly got a divorce and my mom moved back here. She knew I also hated it there so she took me with her. I am coming to school too. I actualky wanted to surprise you next Monday.'
'I would have preferred that you immediately came to us, but this is nice too. It's great to see you back, Autumn, we missed you.' I said.
'I missed you, too.' Autumn said and we hugged.
'But let's stop this shit and dance, shall we?' Autumn asked.
'We shall.' I grinned. We walked to the middle of the dance floor and danced away. It was weird to see Autumn again. We always were super close. We sometimes talked on the phone and stuff, but to see her in front of me again was weird. It made me feel weird. It's been too long since I last saw her, in my opinion. Almost a year now. I remember it as it was yesterday.---Flashback-and-shit---
'Be save.' I smiled at her. We were at the airport. Autumn was going to board soon and Luce and I were saying goodbye.
'Try to text us a lot.' Luce said.
'You know I am not a texter nor caller.' She smiled sadly.
'For us?' I asked faking a pout.
Autumn laughed at me and nodded. 'I'll try.'
"DP2009 is now boarding. Please go to your plane." A voice called.
'That's our call. I need to.' Autumn said and looked at the ground. She sniffed. I hugged her. Luce joined after me.
'I love you.' Autumn whispered.
'We love you too.' Luce and I said in unison.
We parted away when her parents called her. She smiled sadly at us, her eyes teared, and walked after her parents. She turned one time to wave at us. We waved back and she continued.---Flashback-and-shit-ends---
Now I was left wondering, what did she really mean with the "I love you"? And why did I suddenly care? She was our best friend, of course she loved us. But did she direct those three words just to one of us? And if yes, was it for me or Luce?
Hello! Nice to see you again. Merry Christmas!! I kinda feel like a terrible author, 'cause I barely update now. But here is a nice happy chapter as Christmas present!!! Once again, merry Christmas!!
